yet Portuguese is one of the ugliest languages I've heard. unironically.
Spanish is one of the prettiest languages I've heard
Brazilian portuguese or portuguese from any colonial count?
both
French sounds pretty unpleasant, Portuguese sounds nice.
I feel the same about German and Dutch. German speaking ladies send the good kind of shivers down my spine, but every time i ever hear Dutch I'm repulsed.
Spanish sounds fucking awful and harsh, while Portuguese is pleasant, soft and nice.
oh and the same to a lesser extent with Swedish and Norwegian, though i probably just Pavlov's dog'd myself into hating Swedish because of school
Finnish sounds like a guy with down syndrome choking on fermented shark dick
wtf
I meant European
I’m learning Brazilian Portuguese, but you guys told me that I kind of speak like an Angolan kek
s e e t h i n g
Finnish and Estonian sound cute.

English is better imho (In my honest opinion)
Native english speakers have a really funny accent lmao
Still, everyone here loves when a foreigner is learning Portuguese.
Give me something to read, I want to hear what you think after I record it
we already knew
Ironic
Here's a classic that is cited in our anthem:

A little quote from Nelson Rodrigues, my favorite Brazilian writer:
>Nada mais cretino e mais cretinizante do que a paixão política. É a única paixão sem grandeza, a única que é capaz de imbecilizar o homem.
True fact.
Great quote.
I think Dutch sounds fine for the most part, but then my ears start bleeding when I hear the Gs
To be fair, European Portuguese is a joke even for us. Their accent is extremely funny.
Yes, it's quite ironic the literal fucking Dutch speaker is insulting any other language :D
Here you go
American accent sounds like a 6 yr old trying to read a text. It's funny and cute.
Sounds like angola accent.
seeth
I love how finnish sounds.
That's actually pretty good lol
It kinda sounds like a french guy that was trying to learn portuguese while in an exchange program from my university, but a lot better.
It is probably because of the nasal vowels.
Pretty good. Congratz man.
Also, what do Americans think of Brazilian accent? Some words must come out funny because we don't have the "th" sound, for example. Most of us just assume it's an "f" sound.
The only problem with portuguese is that brazilians speak it
It is more useful, yes. But it does not sound pretty.
