Pronounciation is pretty much solved, except for some vowel qualities. Also most of the words are not even reconstructed but were written down in older futhark runes.

Satem vs cetum is not considered accurate for a long time now, since the discovery of Tocharian which is a centum language group in the far east. Also Greek is centum and not satem.
And Slavic shares many commonalities with Indo-Aryan, but also with Germanic so the exact relations can't be determined.

If a language lacks certain grammatical feature, it compensates with different grammatical feature (e.g English has lost its cases, but fixed its word order for compensation). Otherwise the information would be lost. There is no language with ooga booga tier grammar.
