>gee i wonder why those chinese buildings keep falling apart
Gee i wonder why those chinese buildings keep falling apart
arent those american?
2 picutres with 0 context?
yeah im sure it is.
are chink building falling i literaly never heard about this
What material is that?
Ananas?
polystyrene and corncob
LOL CHINESE REALLY MAKE THEIR HANSEL AND GRETEL HOUSES OF SWEET CORN COBS
Bee hives?
yes
thanks for reminding us, Zhang
Expanded polystyrene and corn.
Corn cobs and expanded polyestyrene
I legitimately want to see what happens with Chinese infrastructure in 50 years
you're acting like americans on the coastline and japanese don't do the same, what's the point of building stuff out of sturdy materials when it gets washed away by a hurricane/flood/earthquake/tsunami twice a year, just make it out of cheap shit and rebuild it twice a year, there's only a point in building solid things in areas that aren't regularly affected by natural disasters
making a 2 floor house out of cardboard doesnt seem so bad
making a 8 story building out of foam and sawdust...
>Euro defending constructing houses out of wood even in America
what a time to be alive
yeah sure look at all these cheaply built garbage american houses, no wonder they fall apart, it's not like they were made cheaply out of garbage because they knew that they were gonna fall apart anyways, just like how japan tears down houses every few years and just rebuilds them
Why not build a small house of wood? The actual house is worth very little, all of the value is in the land
I wouldn't call that wood, cardboard if anything
Did the use corn to keep that wall up
Cardboard is still partly wood btw
concrete covered polystylene is used here for ceilings only, maybe this is the case.
but that concrete is paperbag thin and deffinitelly not safe by any standarts
This isn't wood?
>American flag is still up.
cardboard is wood, but if you're talking about a wood house you imagine something like this, not papermache cardboard garbage
hmmm no that's cardboard
>log house
You'll destroy the earth if you want to make enough houses with those. Not to mention they will get eaten up by insects and weather.
just pointing out that it's disingeous to call some cardboard box a "wood house"
>eaten up by insects and weather
that's obviously retarded, the wood is treated with oils that protect it, and the wood you use to build with is hard as steel, you don't use fucking balsa wood
Houses like that would be too expensive, and be much harder to renovate in the future
Aren't the chinese building shit in Africa too?
really want to buy/clear a plot of land and build a house, bros...
is that toilet paper?
Have you guys never eaten corn in a cob?
lol corn on the cob is like cowboy food lmao peru still the wild west
not really here, it's a side dish quite often, especially when you're out on the countryside. Hell, they sell corn cobs in their husks in a lot of grocery stores in the city here
its not cardboard tho, it's planks of wood adhered together using metal spikes sometimes called nails, this is how modern houses are made, it's far more modular and cheaper than building log houses.
