Countries most similar to Germany.
Countries most similar to Germany
This is such a useless set of maps that reveal nothing interesting
so the swamp german meme was true
so it was designated for ameritards
>Netherlands are more similar to us than Austria
Uhm, what?
we have nothing in common with p*land
we have everything in common with poland
we are both celtoslavic mutt subhumans, delusional g*rmoid
ich auch ich auch
löl
Not surprised
Only north Germans are true Germans n all that.
my ancestor.........

Why are German colonies not any more similar to Germany than other African countries? Don't they have any traces of German influence in the political, economic or legal system or simply ethnic Germans living there?
because we had our colonies for only 25 years or so
Based spain, cringe Poortugal
I literally don´t know anything about our former colonies, just like 99.99% of germans. The only thing that some people know is that we comitted a genocide against some africans after they attacked german settlers. But we didn´t rule them for long, so who knows how much we influenced them.
Because we owned colonies for like 20 years and they didn't care about making these places like Germany. German colonists lived seperated from everyone else on farms and unlike the French or English for example they never taught local people the language but instead taught Swahili or other common African languages.
colonies were stolen by britain and france
>German colonists lived seperated from everyone else on farms and unlike the French or English for example they never taught local people the language but instead taught Swahili or other common African languages.
Actually quite sad, would be nice if there was a German-speaking country in Africa looking like a tropical version of Germany.
Btw, I heard that there were African soldiers fighting for Germany in WW1 and they were surprisingly one of the most loyal and patriotic soldiers in the German army.
I think it's better to not have any third world countries speaking german today
Otherwise we would end up like france
The only people speaking german live in europe and I think that's a good thing
Based.
bavarians would say "I a I a"
>Actually quite sad
Absolutely not. Now Swahili is pretty much the only originally African language that has actually a decent number of speakers, is used as a lingua franca across countries and at the African Union.
>The only people speaking german live in europe and I think that's a good thing
There are still German-speaking communities in Brazil and the US tho
the less time spent with colonies the better, it's a losing situation for everyone involved ultimately.
>No Switzerland
You should read Rainbows Gravity by Thomas Pynchon then. There is a Black SS unit, pretty based book. But very long read, about 1.400 sites or so.
>There are still German-speaking communities in Brazil and the US tho
those are meme communities
the brazilian ones speak german with a very thick brazillian portuguese accent
the texan ones are only aging boomers
in 20 years both will die out
>is used as a lingua franca across countries and at the African Union.
I think these countries would benefit more from having German as the lingua franca and having access to German sources, books, knowledge.
>I think these countries would benefit more from having German as the lingua franca and having access to German sources, books, knowledge
please no
I think a lot of young people will want to learn the language of their ancestors just for more opportunities in life.
it is right there under culture but the overall index is probably skewed because of politics as switzerland is an actual democracy
stop being racist, don't you think it's a nice idea than you can travel to a tropical country for a holiday and speak your native language with everyone?
>I think a lot of young people will want to learn the language of their ancestors just for more opportunities in life
beside a bunch of antisocial autists that are into HOI4 or whatever no ones wants to learn german
how is france similar to us? they are fucking shitksins
I'm pretty sure knowing German is a valuable skill in the US or Brazil.
Those maps are absolutely stupid, maybe they could be useful in cases like "who's Bolivia closest to" or "who's Cambodia closest to" but the rest is going to give everyone the most obvious results.
ich bin ein deutscher?
how so?
brazillians just need to learn english and amerisharts should rather learn spanish
And btw, it isn't even that correct,Japan has nothing to do with Germany other than development, pure bullshit map.
>5)
VGH.... Mein German brothers...
There are German companies everywhere and they can simply consider moving to Germany
Except, you know, the composition of their economy and the origin of their political system.
germany only needs low skilled foreign workers like polish toilet plumbers.
