there several lethal shootings each day in the US, with lots and lots of school shootings each month, so it's not that unlikely that someone here is a witness of that... and that are only the reported lethal shootings. non-lethal shootings are waaay more common

A relative of mine had dropped some bullets on the ground that started going off when he lit a bonfire on top of that area some years later. That's the closest I guess. I know people that have been involved in shooting animals.

A girl I went to high school with got shot in the head while driving her car on New Years day by a bunch of wannabe rappers who were hollering at her from another car.

If you've ever heard of the rapper Tay-K it was him in the car along with some other guys, one of which pulled the trigger.

Yeah a kid in my school I sort of knew got shot by his dad because he was wearing a mask and holding a knife outside his aunts house. She called his dad, who came over and shot the kid when he apparently advanced on him.

THIS, the “hundreds of school shootings” stat is a massive fucking meme that’s designed to spook people. If a gun goes off anywhere near a school, and no one even gets dies, they count that as a “school shooting.” We only get a real school shooting like Stoneman Douglas once every year, if that, in a country of 330 million people. The odds that you’ll die in one are like the odds that you’ll get struck by lightening walking down the street, it’s incredibly low

when I was in hs, a few people and a friend of a friend. last I heard another friend that I had met through my cousin shot some other kid over some drug bs with a handgun he stole. It was many years ago and I can't find the article or mugshot.

I grew up in a nice, smaller/mid-sized white American town. There was a kid a few blocks away from me and we were friends as small children, we'd hang out and play, went to each other's birthday parties. As we grew up, we grew apart and went our separate ways, but we were still on friendly terms.

When I was a teenager, I had an early-morning paper route for years. There was this one shitty apartment building that smelled, and had bad tenants, a few blocks away from our two childhood homes. I'd throw the papers in and intentionally not go all the way inside.

Years later, the old friend and I caught up once when I was back in town, we were both in our late twenties. He was wearing some hippie outfit and was clearly a druggie. We chatted a bit about our lives, parted ways.

A few years later he was murdered in his apartment, which I learned was the crappy one just mentioned. Two niggers ran into his unit and shot him dead in front of his girlfriend and infant child. He bled out and died, and they caught the niggers and an accomplice a few counties over. I never did follow their case but I'm sure they're locked up, they caught them right away. The county only has 0-2 homicides in a year but this was by far one of the most dramatic ones it had had in my lifetime. The shitty apartment building was later vandalized and burned down, a nicer building has been rebuilt on the same lot unfortunatley (if I had my way, it would have stood as an unused vacant lot, but of course the world doesn't work that way).

Of course, I feel bad for my old friend, but he clearly brought it on himself by being stupid enough to have drug dealings with niggers.
