I get bored by what I'm reading so I alt tab for ~10 minutes but then I forget what I just read because of my already shitty comprehension so I have to reread a paragraph or sentence and that makes it take even longer to finish something.
>「こ、これで全部?」 >「あ、あと肉屋さん。 今日は100グラム100円超しちゃうよ~?」 >「ま、まさか牛でも買うつもりじゃないだろうね?」 >「まさかと言われるのも比較的心外だけど…」 What is this 超しちゃうよ supposed to mean in the second line?

i tried doing vocab right after waking up from bed and my again count shot up dramatically from 44% to 68% in less than a week. or is it that it gets a bit easier to memorize words the longer you've been doing it?

>予防さえ出来ていれば何も恐れることはありませんよ I get the gist of this sentence because of the context but I'm not sure how さえ fits into it even after checking the TK chapter on it again, is it a "as long as" (you take precautions) kind of deal?
As the Austrian poster doesn’t stop using that pic for OP, I won’t stop talking about hololive as well. I have to say haato is a spoiled child of a rich family as I guessed. She should stop making a fun of English mistakes other girls made.
That doesn't rly make sense when thinking about the lines after. It seems like there was a special deal on meat (100 grams of meat for 100 yen), but then the next line has the other person asking if they're intending to buy a whole cow...?

>type "円超しちゃう" into Google >ちょっと高級。5000円超しちゃうけどどう? >消費税は上がるしおかわり有料化で定食が1000円超しちゃうね >ちょっとした距離ですぐに1000円超しちゃう

That text doesn’t sound very nice nor clear. What I guessed was >and I’m going to the butcher next! Today I am gonna buy meat costs more than 100yen for 100g! >by any chance, are you gonna buy beef? >that “by any chance” sounds relatively offensive though.. Here 牛(牛) means “beef”. I think meat cost less than 100y per 100g is only breast meat of chicken, and it sounds like sort of that was the only meat the character could eat and beef (200~300y/100g) was an inconceivable option in her life. (And this time she managed to earn some easy money, right?)
Hudson Green
>あ、あと肉屋さん Oh, this could be the character talking to the butcher. I am not sure. >Mr. butcher, I am gonna spend more than 100yen per 100g~ >by any chance, do you mean you buy beef?

never gonna make it

Thank you. To clarify, the forth line is her being offended by him implying that she can't really afford to pay for beef, right? I should really get into the habit of more-or-less ignoring every non-Japanese flag at this point - all I get is "help" that isn't helpful at all, while also getting insulted for no reason.

>the forth line is her being offended by him implying that she can't really afford to pay for beef, right? That’s it.
