nah it was founded by a friar and we have a Theology exam every year, but other than that it's a fairly normal uni.

It's a good uni over all,but it's great if you want to get into the inner circles of the Vatican bank or deal with clergy more in general. There's an organization which is deeply ingrained in italian politics, called Communion and Liberation, which is sort of like a catholic version of freemasonry. If you have little dignity and a large desire for power it's fairly easy to land a decent job through them.

That's precisely what it is for in places where that serves at the primary motivation. Having a survival values based view of the world means you only do it to get "an easy life", so that you'll survive better, This is why all the Indians want to become doctors or engineers; because that means they get out of having shitty lives. In places where you're not going to have a hard time regardless of what you choose to do with your life, it's about finding a career path based primarily on your own ability and interest, not based on how easy it's going to make your life.

Yes, for many people in America that is the reality, hence why many Americans have this survival values based view. In Sweden or Finland however, you'll do just fine almost regardless of what choices you make. Worst case is you'll probably be miserable for not having developed to your potential if you just sit on your ass cashing in NEET checks, but you definitely can do that. Or just get a blue collar job and still make decent money, for that matter.
