Yes I agree. but not because of a "fit issue". First of all, the kurd regions aren't heavily populated. Siirt is a small town of like 20,000 people.
The EU plan was to divide up Turkey, to spin off Kurdistan as a pro EU/pro-israel puppet and to admit the cuck western Turkey. They don't want to compete with a full Turkey in the EU.
