I've been on Hello Talk for a year.
As an app, it's honestly quite decent. It has a surprisingly good build in translator and a convenient system to correct each others messages.

I think if you're a girl people do try to pick you up there even though the app specifically asks you not to.

I've only used Tandem which is basically the same thing. Just used it to talk to foreign qts desu. I still talk to one Chinese girl I met irl in January.

Because all women are the same at the end of the day. While its true that arab women are more conservative than the rest (most of the women I talked to were not ok with sex stuff and would only want to do it after marriage), arab women too have their fair share of girls who are just whores. I've not gotten many so far. I got some from a saudi, a moroccan and a egyptian. I also got tiddies from a syrian girl, but just that, she became inactive and then deleted her telegram.

Sorry, didn't quite answer your question either. I should clarify that i'm not good at all with women irl. The way I would do it is by either being flirty and then moving on to sexual innuendo, or asking them their opinions on sexual things. For example, I would tell sex related anecdotes and get their opinion on it, if they respond positively obviously you can move on from there, ask them what they like, get into sexting etc... That only works for girls who are sluts though. And most aren't.

Duolingo is absolutely terrible.
I am passing through a "Teach Yourself German Grammar" book and putting 50 words/day into Anki from /deutsch/ and the book. It has been working out decently. Once I am able to understand /deutsch/ well, I will start translating sentences back-and-forth.
And I will also significantly slow down the tempo on German and switch to starting Chinese.

I doubt I will ever do that. I am no good in internet communication, and I do not particularly like it, either.
I just think China must be cool. The same goes for Japan and Korea. I suppose I just like the Orient. The Orient and Russia.

This basically, it works most of the time. All you really need is one photo in which you look half decent in in case they ask for your pics.
