It wasn't me who argued with you. In fact I didn't even read your post, I just knew it was some polak seething as always and it seems I was correct.

The EU was started by France and Germany in the aftermath of WW2, to start anew. It was done by people who had fought in the army against each other. And it did work.
Perhaps for Russia it will take several centuries, but sooner or later they will realize that this is a better way. Then they'll be ready to join.
