When I lived in the US arguably the most disgusting feeling was walking in my student campus and ym roommates would walk everywhere in the household with shoes on except near their beds, its insane and feela disgusting to even try to walk without shoes inside in america. Please americans take off your shoes

your feet will literally stain a carpet faster than wearing shoes, you should at least wear socks but then you will have dirty socks. therefore, I wear (clean) shoes inside

Wearing socks when you are inside is a given. If they get dirty its a sign to maybe clean every once in a while.

shoes inside, who gives a fuck, but my dad has shoes he walks the dog in and when he gets home he takes them off at the door, doesnt shake or dust off any off the nasty mud and dirt on the soles, carries them inside and puts them on a shelf in a china cabinet in the computer room, this shelf also contains shit like cookbooks, mail & other loose pieces of paper, ornaments and other little trinkets. i dont understand what the fuck is going through his mind when he does that but its absolutely fucking retarded and gets sand on everything. actually makes me laugh these days. boomers amirite?
