What's you rarest flag? For me its Burkina Faso.
What's you rarest flag? For me its Burkina Faso
And now it's mine. :)
How do you determine which flags are "rarer?"
How often you see them, generally speaking all of SSA except for South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya are rare, in Asia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, DPRK Laos, Bhutan, In Europe pretty much Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Vatican City, San Marino, and Kosovo, in the America's Belize, Nicaragua, Suriname, Guyana, French Guyana, All of the Caribbean except Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Aruba, Guadeloupe, Trinidad and Tobago, and maybe Curacao and Jamaica, Every Oceania country except Australia, New Zealand, and French Polynesia. Also got Somalia yesterday.
also here is my map
Germany and our posts are extremly underrated
You discovered Sri Lanka already :-(
Germans are slavs
ya got you a while back. What is Sri Lanka like anyways, what's your food like?
Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Mayotte, bunch of Pacific islands, and Pretoria/Lesotho
>picrel is South Sudan, has only been a country since 2011
> French Polynesia.
tf are you one. its rare af, fiji is actually more common place
british indian ocean
when did you get South Sudan, was it a real poster or a proxyfag?
What? I've never seen Fiji, but seen French Polynesia multiple times
there was one on Zig Forums, most of these flags are proxies
where they legit?
>he hasnt gotten them all yet
because you're a newfag and you saw that one user from fp that posted during the lockdown.
got plenty of posts from fiji. wait i'll send you the screencap
There's a proxyfag in /isr/ he posts like 6 different flags in every new thread of theirs, lol. Probably responsible for like a quarter of my collection. Here's the unknown flag I got because my browser glitched out one time
probably not
Which one is the US flag but with the lighter blue?
Ya I have unknown as well, and I know there's an Israeli proxyfag in /isr/ but I don't go there, I don't collect flags from known proxyfags
Lol no way. Greenland/St. Pierre ones I presume to be legit though.
>picrel is Swaziland from the Israeli Proxyfag
Scattered islands like midway.
Pic related. Samoa is also much more common than pf.
meeting locals and talking with them is the real challenge. vpnfags just rig the market
What's the fun in collecting proxyfag flags though?
Yemen, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Monaco, Belize, Nicaragua, Jamaica are not rare
I mean, it's not like some authentic poster from some 5,000 pop. Pacific island is ever going to show. I might as well have them for the sake of seeing them in my collection.
>picrel is Tajikistan
I refuse to believe that Nicaragua even exists at this point
he posts from time to time but its hard to tell them apart
Yes they are, Jamaica maybe no, but the rest barley ever post
I mean you'll probably never get them all, but I don't see the fun in it when you just collect ones from a proxyfag
I'm really nervous that there's going to be some super-rare from Chad or one of the Minor Outlying islands that are stealthy and I never bother to mouse over them. Two weeks into my flag collecting hobby I couldn't even tell the difference between Slovakia and Slovenia, lmao
same, also have China, but still a semi-rare flag
Also, usually you can tell something is off, for instance here is Isle of Man which kind of loos like Morocco, but not exactly.
Yeah, if you're fine with collecting proxies, China and North Korea are memed all the time and easy to find if you go into a thread about those countries
Sadly, I do not know how to properly describe Sri lanka to westerners. I think you can call it a somehow lesser shitty India with a shittier economy than India. The country have lots socialist stuff, I guess (Free education, healthcare, Gov't owned publicly trading companies).
Food however, is something I know. The staple food is rice+curries. We usually have 3 or 4 curries with rice. Most of them are made with coconut milk. We also have shit like roti (wheat+shredded coconut), flatbread (parata). Some weird looking shit called "Hoppers", something called "String Hoppers" that doesn't actually look anything like Hoppers. My favourite is this street dish called "Kottu". It's basically sliced flatbread stir fried with veggies and "chicken curry" (coconut milk based). Rice is eaten the whole 3 meals in some families. Bakeries and bakery related food are quite popular too somehow.
The food is hot. It's not spicy as much as Indian food. Personally, I find Indian food to have alot of conflicting flavours that don't quite go together for my pallet.
The flag of Morocco has always been troubling for me. IDK if it's just my eyesight or something, but it just looks like a red flag to me and the green star doesn't contrast well enough for me to notice it. I have both of those countries though.
