Nobody here is all that interested in joining the US except for a small, separatist party in Alberta that killed its momentum when it became a part of their platform. The Liberal party in Canada has always historically been the continental party with the Conservatives joining them in the 80's with free trade which was unpopular. With the new Conservative leader being a proponent of CANZUK its a marked sway away from the continental aspects of the party. Even in some bizarre collapse scenario south of the border, it's not realistic to see border changes.
