No and yes. I don't have anything against protecting animals from people, but the protection shouldn't be based on some arbitrary number of live individuals in the nature but on the fact that animal life has an innate value. Only an individual life has value, statistics or abstractions don't. There is no innate value in preserving some specific subgenus. Species born and die naturally all the time.

To put it differently, I support preservation in the same way I support supporting human minorities. It's ok, it's really nice, but if doing so by design fucks over some other demographic then it's not cool.

Islam does not force people to backlash against apostates it merely states that an apostate will be punished by god. That's a society issue, If you chose to be a muslim then you chose to adhere by the quran's rules it's not childplay to make such a decision. if you don't want to you are free to do so as the quran states that it's allah who will punish you for apostasy but does not state any punishments to be inflicted upon apostates by other people in the quran. whether or not society condemns you for it is unrelated to the religion itself but that's how humans have always reacted to when people close to them abandon their set of beliefs/way of life etc.

Ideally yes.
Obviously I have some pretty strong personal preferences when it comes to animals as well as people but that's my problem. It's not the cockroaches' fault (or that of brown people, or black people, or Asian people, or...) that I find them icky. If I started treating men and beasts based on feelings and not any higher ideal I'd be very disappointed in myself.

This is literal cope. If you are I. A Muslim family in a Muslim country you will in all likelihood be thrown out onto the streets and be completely shunned by your family and community if not worse if you come out as an apostate. Acting like this is somehow better then some unwritten rule about only dating those of your race is bullshit.

Yes and? you're gonna imply there aren't parents in america that throw their children out if they find out they're gay? this world isn't a magical place and people don't turn into unicorns just because they are religious specially since the average religious person is not as informed about their own religion as you might think. Society will always shun and dismiss those who they think abandoned their way of life or embraced one that their parents disprove of even if the religion itself states otherwise. hell even your own society will dismiss shun most of the people here with these racial pride opinions if they go post it on twitter and you can kiss your employment good bye.
