Christianity is false just like every religion but attributing it to some sort of Jewish conspiracy when it disagrees with Judaism on some very core points of theology seems awfully paranoid.

The only other religions that currently really claim historical fact are Buddhism and Islam.
Buddhism supposedly originates in Siddhārtha Gautama, who does not have very many records around the time of his life, our earliest sources come from 200-300 years afterward. Plus, he's ostensibly just a human applying human philosophy and not divine revelation.
Islam of course originates in Muhammad, who we know existed and who is also a bastard bandit child rapist who spread his religion through violence and exploited it for the pettiest shit
Jesus on the other hand was very well documented, with sources dating back 60-90 years after his death all corroborating one another in claiming that this man, who was within living memory, was the Son of God and resurrected from the dead

Atheists by definition do not believe in any deity; one can in principle believe in other non-deity supernatural claims and be an atheist, but most people who apply the term to themselves have a generally naturalistic worldview.

Humans have an amazing capacity for wrongness, especially in a group that's reinforcing the wrong ideas. There are cases in living memory of apocalypse cults and UFO cults that only became more fervent after their leader's prediction of Armageddon or alien invasion failed to come true on the stated date, and of the course the Heaven's Gate people died for what everyone else sees as a pretty clear lie.
