Can some recommend me another movie that is dread-inducing, has a suspenseful build up with strong character development and gradual feeling of escalation, is a bone-chilling slow burn with “say more with less” approach and is soul-shaking, blood-curdling, skin-crawling and is nerve-wracking exercise in persistently looming dread where tension and anxiety permeates every frame as movie reaches its nail-biting, is jaw-clenching and paranoia-inducing final climax, free of any cheap gore, cartoonish cgi or infantile jumpscares film?
Can some recommend me another movie that is dread-inducing...
Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Problem Child 2
What's the matter OP? Too chickenshit to post the slow burn basedjak?
Kill List.
?
just looking for movie suggestions of this Friday night
LAMB
that movie has a jumpscare
The Wicker Man
Der Untergang (weird rec maybe but it has the same emotions)
Heredity is better and pretty much the exactly same movie.
The Terror S1
>The Wicker Man
The remake is shit and the old one, while better by comparison, has not aged well imo. I tried to rewatch it and the scene with the bar wench trying to seduce the virgin inspector through the wall is really awkward.
imagine still seething kek
This movie was absolute shit.
Seriously... so fucking boring.
Unironically Picnic At Hanging Rock but if you're a pleb you wont find it unsettling
Lake Mungo
Let's test something.
*ahem*
Why are you like this?
Eden lake or Zagussa
I am appalled by the lack of soijaks

this, hereditary is like midsommar with actual horror and scares
you mad?
rosemarys baby
>it's awkward so it's bad
people like you are why modern media is devoid of charm and soul

Choose your fighter
I liked Midsommar but I didn't really find it scary at all. Sometimes uncomfortable and unsettling, nothing else though.
While the plot was overall unfocused as hell, Pugh did a good job, and it had great camera-work in its first 10 minutes. Can't remember the black guy's name, but I'm bummed they made him a retard halfway through, seeing as he's supposedly an anthropology student specializing in Sweden
do you guys actually watch movies
Patrician user.
Machinist
Lodge
Autopsy of Jane Doe was really boring.
I am not into gore/snuff to actually enjoy the rest of the poor runtime filler.
