Movies with popular actors that nobody ever talks about
Zachary Ramirez
Bentley Perez
original ending was better
Carson Bennett
The only part I really liked about this was the explanation of the room. It was just an evil room, not ghostsm nothing tragic happened there, no curses, the room was just evil.
Austin Anderson
the short story is pretty good, too. much more trippy. i liked that evil entity room explanation, too.
Elijah Rodriguez
Fucks me up knowing there's other endings. I only watched the one where he dies and burns the room down. But the manager brings some of his things into a box and they end up being cursed and it shows his scared visage I'm the car. Also his spirit js with his daughter in the hotel room or something
Lucas Hill
Any other chads see 1408 in theatres
Brody Campbell
Yeah I thought that was fun too. I liked how the room almost was just like hole or portal into hell or this ancient evil. Just something that's always existed.
Liam Green
any other movies like this?
David Hughes
The original ending has him surviving the fire, moving in with his ex wife, and then discovering his tape that has his daughters voice on it and his wife hears it.
I didn't like Samuel Jacksons acting and the stupid jumpscare in that other ending. Felt like they filmed that ending additionally after filming was done and he had no motivation to properly act
Connor Sullivan
I actually liked it.
Jaxson Rogers
He survives in the short story, too, btw. He can't remember most of the stuff from the room but is completely shattered psychologically and has heavy ptsd without really being sure why exactly. Best ending imo, it's one of my favorite horror short stories
Jaxon Peterson
Yes
Original ending best ending
Logan Ward
Yup. I thought it was great when I saw it too. Big Cusack fan 2bh. Nice seeing him in a movie where he isn't a poor sap getting his heart broken or being lovesick.
Camden Morales
>This is nine! Nine! We have killed your friends! Every friend is now dead!
book version was kino
Connor Robinson
Probably one of the funniest films i've ever seen. Micheal Douglas, Robert Downey Jr, Frances Mcdormand and especially Tobey Maguire are all great in it. Yet it's pretty much forgotten.
Xavier Nelson
>BIRDS ROASTED IN SHIT
kek
Landon Rogers
Not a scary movie but the atmsosphere and sound design was great, as was Cusack's performance.
Joshua Powell
>"We've only just begun..."
Jose Howard
more like 1488
Carson Williams
Isn’t that what happens in the movie? I don’t remember it going any differently.
Jayden Reyes
director's cut ending has him burning to death, theatrical has him surviving
Jacob White
Any more movies like this? That rely on psychological horror rather than jump scares
Luis Johnson
My only problem with the film is that there's so many endings and they all change depending where you watch it
Liam Sanders
This is my favorite John Cusack movie.
Lucas Howard
>so many endings
there's just two though. what do you mean, depending where you watch it
Isaac Cruz
I'll always associate that film with The Forgotten from 2004
it had two endings as well, and it was the first time I'd ever seen a film that had alternate endings - 1408 being the second
Parker Ross
>that sounds like something french people might eat
great shortstory
Charles Morales
based Cusack
Joseph Martinez
Holy shit I love this movie. It's so perfect with the original ending, it gives me weird chills.
Josiah Davis
just watched this the other day, very comfy occult film. any suggestions on one like this?
Adrian Miller
another comfy film, also has Depp playing it straight for most of the film.
Noah Garcia
