Le epic meth show

>le epic meth show
Was there a more overhyped show than this? When we were in film school we laughed at how garbage it was. Vince Gilligan is a hack.

you know you can enjoy things even if theyre overhyped

What did anyone in your film school make after graduation?

meth is based

>film school

It's the best rated television show in television history. It's quite good. It doesn't surprise me at all that it's loathed on this board as Zig Forums is full of contrarians that can only feel special by disagreeing with consensus.

Its objectively shit. Everyone acts like it is good, when it so obviously isn't.

Yeah, you're a contrarian little kid, and I'm not going to bump your awful thread this time. You have to grow up at some point and realize that always disagreeing with popular consensus doesn't make you an individual, it makes you a predictable, boring person. Grow up, kid.

It's not objectively shit though, by all metrics it is objectively good. The fact that you can't look past the context of the show's fandom or your own personal tastes and realize that shows that you are a contrarian zoomer.

>film school
ahahahahahahahahaha

based breaking bad giving hours of entertainment and enjoyment, even to snobby film school students who enjoyed it on a comical level.

No, you're just an idiot that doesn't understand cinema, it's not my fault that you're jealous of how I understand and appreciate media

No. Not in the entire history if television, and I'm not even kidding. It was entertaining enough but when people started treating it as some kind of masterpiece or the best show of all time people felt compelled to start pointing out its myriad and obvious flaws. If people had just acknowledged it for the mediocre serial tv drama it was you wouldnt see so many haters.

>film school

what sort of faggot PAYS to go to SCHOOL to watch movies. you can literally pirate movies for free instead of paying a tuition and watch youtube analysis of said film.. oh man what a fucking DUMBASS

i mean if the extent of your criticism is
>le epic meth show
then i'd sooner find better education inside danny dyer's arsehole than whatever film school you went to

Its transparent how upset you guys are that my opinions are of a higher standard than yours. I have immersed myself in the world of cinema and I understand its intricacies far better than either of you.

Name five better shows. And if you say the Soapranos then you automatically lose.

Good post. Breaking Bad has some of the best Acting and cinematography work I’ve ever seen in a television show, anyone who says otherwise is either trolling or doesn’t know what they are talking about

you never went to film school

>when it so obviously isn’t

Why do people that say this about popular things never have any sort of evidence or even an opinion to back up their stupid claims except “J-J-JUST LOOK.. ITS SO S-STOOPID..”

nice larp

Best acting? Thats objectively false, and you wouldn't know good acting if you waltzed onto a movie set. My buddies from the film school would be laughing you out of the building.

Yea I really didn't get the hype and I watched the entire damn show. Cranston and Paul both act out emotional breakdowns pretty well, but nothing else was very interesting about the entire thing. I still haven't touched Better Call Saul.

For me ? Its Marie

Pretentious Douchebag: The Thread

>Overhyped
Zoomers pretending to be boomers is fucking retard tier. Fact, BB was only popular during it's last season due to it being put on Netflix. Stop lying you fucking cuntstain.

>If you name the Sopranos you automatically lose.
Why, because it's the undisputed GOAT? Fair enough. Mad Men, the Wire, Twin Peaks, Six Feet Under, Deadwood.

I've seen this same exact same baitpost but with a different show/movie in the pic. People still fall for this.

No it's not pretentiousness, it's called having superior taste. It's frustrating having to reign in this board because it's littered with plebeians who hold terrible opinions about a subject they know nothing about, cinema. I live, eat, and sleep film and television and I know more than guaranteed anybody on this board about it.

no replies, huh

I've made more movies than you could ever watch in your lifetime.

I like Breaking Bad but: Twin Peaks, True Detective, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, and Mad Men

Can you please show us some?

Some are in the works right now, I'm binded by an NDA so I'm not going to waste my talent on some random on this board. Get a hold of yourself.

Going to Film School doesn't make you smarter or more qualified than anybody else. It means you paid more to get stuff you can learn on an online MasterClass

It certainly does, but I was already gifted with higher intelligence before I went, and I'm naturally talented as well. Please don't be upset that someone's opinions hold more weight than yours do.

Then why did you post this thread? Was it not so you could have other people go "Oh man, I totally agree with you!"? If not, then this was a stupid blogpost. There have been plenty of successful directors who never went to film school. If you were so smart, you would know this.
