Perdition is a stupid word. Hence, I will never watch this movie.

>the absolute state of this board

You're not losing much.

So is it actually good or what?

nah, nothing special

>Paul Newman Jude Law

>I'm glad it's you

Yes it is.

It's just a bad movie

It’s lame. Don’t worry about it.

It is. And it never gets discussed on Zig Forums so I don't know why the board is pretending it's bad. Probably because Tom Hanks didn't react to a shitty bong comedian's joke appropriately.

like what

>when people ask me if michael sullivan was a good man, or if there was just no good in him at all. I give them the same answer
>he was my father

user wasn't wise. Nor was he gentle. And with a skinful of steel reserve in him, he was a pain in the ass. But he was loyal and brave. And he never made a redditworthy post. He'd have enjoyed this thread. Me and the discord, we wanna say thank you to our generous host. Where would this board be without our janny? I've posted here for many years now, jan'. Nearly half my life. And we've never had a disagreement. I've come to realize that you rule this board...as God rules the earth. You give, and you take away-

My only complaint is the constant firing of 1911s with the hammers forward. Looks silly.

If there's one thing that's good about being noguns it's not getting triggered over gun-related autism like that in movies.

>bizarre
Like what? I don't remember anything too jarring, in fact the cinematography in generally is excellent.

it's actually a comic book movie but without capeshit

>being noguns
You could've called that user an autist and moved on, but you had to embarrass yourself too.

>scenes that hit too close to home

Gangster flicks and westerns are capeshit for boomers.

I never even knew it was considered bad by anyone, not even the contrarian assholes on here.I always just assumed it's one of those good movies that everyone saw and liked so there's not much to talk about, not good enough to still constantly be talked about, but universally liked.

Modern classic.

It recently popped up on Netflix which is literally the only reason this board even knows about it now, and automatically thinks it's bad because of said streaming service

I heard a review that said something along the lines of "what makes it great is not the story that is told, but how it is told" everything from the cinematography, the soundtrack, the performances, the costume and set design, the direction. everything about this movie elevates the "Revenge Plot" into something more meaningful.

Paul Newman breaking down and raging at Daniel Craig is kino tbqh

I know, based, right?

>automatically bad because its on streaming service they all pay for monthly

God 30's cars were so aesthetic.
