I did a study abroad in Marseille. There were a lot of north africans and blacks. The girls weren't interested in me. I just stayed in my room playing vidya and flew back home. Tried going to a bar but everyone was speaking French and seemed to already know each other.

That was mostly a meme answer from me, but: there is nothing like Paris but Paris in France
It is overwhelming larger, more populated and more relevant than any other city, despite their flaws Montpellier and Marseille or Toulouse and Bordeaux don't come close to the shitty sides of Paris
