Net wealth is just an indicator of how well a people can either save money or dump their wealth into assets. It partially has something to do with income but it also has a lot to do with consumer attitudes, willingness to leverage, and ability to save money.

Wrong, you only need about $1,1m to be in the top 10% richest people in the world. Almost every family in my extended family has that amount of money. It's not a lot of money at all.

Look at our taxes and what they are being used for, EU Corona debt stuff being the prime example. But: Cost of living here is low and in real life, the difference between us (35,000 in that list) and Austria (95,000) surely isn't almost factor 3. There are other statistics and whatever, I assume.
