>Yeong-Shin (Kim Sung-kyu) who are already struggling to deal with a plague that appears to bring the dead back to life as blood-thirsty monsters. Together they all face a life or death struggle to not only stop the spread of the plague but to also save the royal dynasty from being overthrown.
What the fuck why are all their dramas like this. Are there any good historical dramas about Korea (or Asia in general)?

Should I watch this?

we gotta have some fun watching tv after 10 hours of dead end office work

불멸의 이순신 (immortal yi sun shin) and 제5공화국 (the fifth republic) are pure kino

they really aren't
first 4 episodes are usually good to great
next 4 lesser than that
next 4 big drop of quality
last 4 get a boost but can end a huge mess, failure, or disappointment

For me, it's Extracurricular

I didn't realise Netflix was Korean

Korean "men" are pathetic

Why is he shilled so hard, he seems like a normal cool guy to me. He's also only half korean he's also white

Do Korean's just love mad king stories or is that accurate history?

Nigger

독도는 일본땅

It's incredibly interesting imo. Did you know Korea once controlled large swaths of Manchuria? They even had a unified kingdom with the jurchen at one point.
They also won several wars against China and Japan at various times against overwhelming odds (notably: goguryeo-sui war and the imjin war). And there was the korean three kingdoms period which was like china's three kingdoms only this time china and japan were trying to pull shenanigans too.

They're the poland of asia and imo it's incredible how they managed to retain their identity for so long despite being sandwiched between two larger countries.

최고다 이순신 (The Best Lee Soon-shin) is a great watch as well, comes at the story from a little different angle

>They're the poland of asia
I've always thought koreans were the blacks of Asia.
