Does crime exist in Italy?

I watch some Youtubers who film vlogs in Livorno and Bari and the streets look peaceful and nice as fuck. Nobody is stealing cars, spraying graffiti on the wall, mugging people, etc. Everything looks nice and everyone's walking around in sandals looking stress free. In Britain you need an insane amount of security on your home and car, these people are just parking their car anywhere, coming back the next morning and it's still there, leaving their doors open all night, etc

Where the fuck do you live? Let me guess you're a chav living in a council house surrounded by poorfags

no

Birmingham

Well, that says all that needs to be said really. Worst place in UK, higher murder rate than London too

Yeah i know it's bad here but these are cities too in Italy and it seems zero crime there. I thought all urban areas are rough?

every country has safe and unsafe cities. Where you expecting every Italian city to be like in the movies about the mafia?

How many babies be poppin outta these snow bunnies!?

what are the nicest cities in italy to live in? and i mean city not village

Milan probably
It seems comfy, rich, generally safe and clean

i went there it was a shithole

What do you mean

I like Turin
Urbino is beautiful too but there isn't much to do there

I don't know depends what you want

i like turin too

Second this

milan and turin probably, do not live in both of them but I've been there many times and those are actually nice cities I think

>murder rate of like 2 per 100k
>high
Do Euros really?

>these people are just parking their car anywhere, coming back the next morning and it's still there, leaving their doors open all night
The south has few migrants so there's very little crime, the north is richer so migrants move there and commit more crimes. Still our intentional homicide rate is really low.

Milan is pretty bad, would definitely not recommend if you care about low crime.

Nice source

i will have to visit turin. what are the nicest places in tuscany and veneto?

>Milan is pretty bad, would definitely not recommend if you care about low crime.

Milan is nowhere near in crime to other cities of the same size
Italy it's pretty safe overall, worst that can happen is getting pickpocketed in the big cities

Cagliari

You're an Amerimutt so it would be difficult for you to understand. We have different standards here. It's like you talking about how Chicago is dangerous and some South African being like heh murder rate of 15 per 100k that's nothing.

It's the wiki stats

I can confirm that in my city violent crime is pretty much non existent, I started walking back and forth to school alone when I was 6 years old, never had a problem walking around even at night, never seen a mugging, robbery, or anything like that in my life, worst I can remember are some scraps when I was a kid and one time when I saw someone getting clocked the fucked out outside a club and hit his head on the pavement.
there's still drug dealing and prostitution and I guess tax evasion etc.

>worst that can happen is getting pickpocketed

Lived in Milan for 8 years, that's definitely not the case, there's some areas that are Sketch town incarnate, nothing is probably going to happen to you but you definitely feel like putting your phone in your underwear.
Also in general the city is full of wild zoomie packs that shouldn't be fucked with.

what the fuck are you talking about you always have to watch for pickpockets and scammers and shit. Theres drug dealers on the street. The police are everywhere but actively don't give a fuck. Arabs yell shit at passing women. Everything's run down and looks like shit.

where the fuck have you been lol

Wop-hater Australian tells some truth. Big and turistic cities are like that

no they aren't
