Why do Americans love coffee so much?

They go to starbucks all the time.
I prefer tea.

Tea is a woman's drink

people who changed the world drank tea
coffee drinkers are just mindless caffeine robots

Going to Starbucks is their culture of worshipping owners

Starbucks is not coffee bro

Most renowned intellectuals have drunk coffee. Also I can tell you're the toddler-palated dork who gets mad at the cofe time threads.

cringe

coffee drinkers are the chads and the backbone of civilized society, tea drinkers are genocidal maniacs that get high off their own farts

>I prefer tea.

is starbucks even coffee? nigga it's just sugar and shit

>started drinking coffee in the mornings so I could feel like an adult
>can't function without it now

observe how aggressive and vulgar coffee-drinkers are. truly plebeian.

if you order something like black coffee, a black americano, black whatever then yes. even a little milk or cream is fine.
>t.lives by starbucks and orders a 5-shot americano every morning

we like having hot black liquid poured down our throat. is that so hard to understand?

This. Starbucks is the proof that americans don't like coffee.

Is it true americans will go to a cafe or restaurant and simply order a "coffee", without any further description? And then put cream in it?

>simply order a "coffee", without any further description
we do that too. it's implied to be an espresso

I do not drink coffee or tea, I just force myself up and that usually works. I really only drink water and milk

It's addictive

>I just force myself up and that usually works
I don't drink coffee to wake up, I don't think most people here do.

Expresso goes with a small breakfast outside on your way to work or after a large meal, specially with friends and relatives.

If you go to a coffee shop you'll have to specify further. Otherwise yes

Why dont you go to actual coffee instead?

For me, it's monster

its much much further away. i like the morning walk and really, as long as its black, coffee beans arent super different from each other. its mostly how theyre roasted.

Juice Monster is better

Yeah I do that sometimes but I don't add cream. What's wrong with that? Do they ask what blend or roast you want in Ireland? Or is it implied to be spiked with alcohol in Ireland.
No you don't, at starbucks or any local coffee shop you can just say "coffee" and they give you whatever the blend/roast of the day is.

>wake up and drink a monster zero to start the day
>drink coffee in the evening to keep up the energy
>drink herbal tea at night to chill when I get high
Anyone else does this?

Yeah I would assume that as well, besides when I drank coffee it only helped a little bit, also

>I will never have Iberian expresso

tea is so bland compared to covfefe.when i drink tea i have to put a bunch of honey in it but i can drink coffee black no problem

Coffee seems to help me hate my job (and life) a little bit less.

Starbucks is a woman thing. Men drink black coffee as in your OP image

If you just ask for a coffee here they wont understand you. Youd have to be more specific. Americano, cappuccino, latte, espresso... Filter coffee isnt really a thing here, at least not in cafes or restaurants

Ah, okay. I guess the most similar thing to our filter coffee would be an Americano. Basically "coffee" here just means Americano.A lot of restaurants don't have actual espresso or cappuccino equipment.
