I don't. All of mine were illiterate farmers and I remember something something my grandfather cut his right index finger to avoid getting conscripted around 1968 or whatever.

Interesting, had the same experience here. 90% of new conscripts spend their entire time doing useless chores: raking leaves, painting fences and walls, polishing their uniform everyday (despite never actually using them), sweeping the floor, running around under the sun carrying dead weights.
I'm so glad I got out literally the last minute, can't imagine a bigger waste of time and resources. and I'm posting in some paraguayan mate processing BBS mid afternoon.
