Routh, Simmons, Culkin and Evans are relentlessly handsome.

Brie was hot.

You hated Ramona Flowers in particular for depriving you of Scott's cock and boipussy. You love his cock and boipussy. You wish you could marry them.

I also just watched it for the first time the other night.
Kinda amazing how there's nothing else like it really, or as good.

that the Todd Ingram scenes were the best part of the movie

that the katayanagi twins were the best fight

It was good despite normal faggotry.

soiboys and nerds from Zig Forums worship this garbage

If it was more like the actual comic it'd be good

You thought it was good but you have to pretend not to like it or else Zig Forums incels will make fun of you

is Zig Forums really full of incels?

It was shallow. Could've been sharper. The human drama was overshadowed by the fight scenes and special effects.

3/5 it was aight

Yeah, and you're one of them.

Simmer down dude it's just a stupid flick.

That's what I just said.

Great movie. Kinda sort out the ending better than the graphic novel. This would be a better tv show than a movie. The main character is a bit of a selfish asshole so hard to get into the story, but it does reflect teenage years pretty well.

The main character is supposed to be a selfish asshole. The entire story is about an asshole falling in love with another asshole and realizing the pain he put other people through when he's placed on the other side of the experience

The movie came out before comics were finished so they never showed how much of an asshole, Scott really was

the speed at which the characters interact almost gave me an aneurysm

This was always a problem I had with the comic; that Scott is a pretty shitty person to an amazing and devoted girlfriend, pretty much the holy grail of women, and he becomes obsessed with this shitty used-goods snarky bitch and proceeds to simp big-time for her. Even his previous girlfriend, the drummer was miles better. I just couldn't get why me as a reader should root for him to win Ramona - she wasn't worth fighting for to begin with.
The last volume even shit on one of the fun surreal elements - where Scott fought this fantastical fight with Kim from someone, but it turns out it was all in his head.

I grew up watching that high speed dialogue and didn't have any friends so that's the rate I thought conversation happened at. Now I speak like a less than likable Aaron Sorkin character and conversation is incredibly slow for me. Also people call me witty when they mean "a dick"

The should have been divided into at least two, but instead Edgar Wright decided to cramp everything altogether into one, which was extra-retarded because the comic still wasn't finished, and it's not like it was particularly long or released on a slow schedule. The whole thing has me scratching my head. It was a pretty unknown comic in the larger scheme of things, as in, reasonably well known for something that's not Marvel or DC, but still not exactly wildly popular... so to begin with, buying the rights to make a movie just seems strange. Then rushing to complete it so in the end the whole thing is a jumbled mess?

That was the point. Scott got a dose of his own medicine when he encountered an even bigger piece of shit than himself

You think Toronto is a shit hole and shouldn't exist
This guy got arrested in Toronto
Though it's only half as bad as Vancouver here.

And this is Vancouver

Toronto

Because this was at the height of teen comedy revival and they were desperate for new material

really bad movie

But Scott isn't wrong

First time I was really disappointed in Edgar Wright, Shaun of the Dead, Spaced and Hot Fuzz were leagues above it. Maybe he's just shit without Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

It’s kino
