The TLDR version is he just was sick of him, sick of him being a degenerate druggie, sick of him endangering the family and others like his family, sick of being around him as conversations between them lose their spark, sick of the undermining to other families, sick of the trouble he brought like Adriana.
The reality is Chris only lived that long due to nepotism and he's fucking lucky he lived that long
