Basically, the real question is what happens if the democrats win the house and the senate on a large enough margin to actually impeach and remove him and pence from office. If that happens the majority leader of congress will take over the presidency and suddenly the democrats will have managed to basically force a victory.

His whole career hinges on timing.
Trevor Noah had a big comedy special about growing up in South Africa that blew up almost exactly as Jon Stewart was getting ready to leave the show.
It was kind of interesting and sad because of his experiences and maybe 23% funny, but mostly sucked, but for whatever reason it made a big splash.
It's almost common sense that someone born in the U.S. or one of the correspondents should have inherited the show (which would have sucked ass anyway because Stewart's personality was the thing that carried it) but the producers decided to give it to the guy experiencing 15 minutes of fame instead.

They already impeached him and will do it again but they'll never have a large enough margin in the Senate to convict and remove him from office because it requires 2/3rds rather than a simple majority to convict. They'd need to win 14 seats currently held by Republicans while retaining every seat held by a Democrat to get the 67 votes they need. 2022 isn't going to help because Dems have twice as many seats on the line in that Senate election as will the Republicans. Even counting RINO Never-Trumpers like Mitt Romney, they're still far short.

Even if he doesn't win theyll still talk about him for another couple years
