Holy shit, I didn't expect pic related to be so good. Literal kino and the second best Bond movie after "From Russia with Love". At least that's what I think for now, I still have the Bond movies that came out after this one left.
Holy shit, I didn't expect pic related to be so good...
its one of the worst one's
No it's actually one of the bottom of the barrel Bond films. I'm sorry for your loss.
You'll never get invited to one of Hector Gonzalez's pool parties
Was that guy's name actually Albert Broccoli
hah
broccoli
Retards
check out goldeneye
Is there a single memorable moment in the film? I don't remember anything from it.
Incorrect
I'm going in the chronological order, so I'm still not quite near Goldeneye yet.
>That's detente comrade.
FYEO is what Bond should be, no retarded destroy the world shit with Bloqueer or other retards.
yep, easily the worst pre-credit scene in bond history is it's memorable scene. this was the beginning of amateur director john glen's shitty bond movies in the 80's when the studio was trying to take the series in a different direction.
He's a government agent, if he's not facing some kind of national security level threat then there's no reason for Bond to be involved in the first place. The exception being films like FRWL or The Man with the Golden Gun (and partially Skyfall) where there's a personal invitation/challenge made. I do agree Blofeld is a garbage villain though; every Bond film that features him as the primary antagonist is terrible. Maybe I'll rewatch FYEO but I have it ranked very low and there's just nothing that comes to mind when I try to remember it, I don't recall the plot, villain or any side characters unique to the film. Might be the one where Moore kicks a car off a cliff which is a badass scene but I'm not even sure if I'm thinking of the right film.
Yeah 80s Bond was really trashy. Just started copying basic action films of the period which didn't suit James Bond. A View to a Kill is a bit of a guilty pleasure Bond with Christopher Walken and Grace Jones being fun but none of the 80s Bond films exceed mediocrity.
The underwater scenes are kino, better than Thunderball. TSWLM is my favorite though. I will watch NTDT but my expectations are rock bottom, the only thing that can redeem Craig would be a big set piece battle with commandos v henchmen.
based, great film user
when he screams mister bond as he gets dropped into a massive coal chimmney
awful
>based lair raid chad recognizing TSWLM
My favorite lair raid is YOLT, but TSWLM is second best in that regard. Craigs next bourne joke of a movie will obviously not have anything like that, the whole point of his movies is to appeal to the new generation who don't give a shit about classic Bond tropes. If you choose to suffer through whatever that nigger loving green haired bitch calls music and craig sleeping his way through exposition that's on you
same here, I just rewatched the entire damn series, even Operation Kid Brother, and struggle to remember what FYEO was about. A View To a Kill was shockingly kino, as was Licence to Kill (yes, it's spelled that way for some reason)
>On Her Majesty's Secret Service
>terrible
fuck you
Bond died with Cubby Broccoli, Barbara has no fucking idea.
I realize nobody will agree with me on this, but I think Skyfall is the fourth best in the series
bump
The opening scene with the helicopter and the delicatessen is probably the worst cold open in the entire franchise. That said the rest of the movie is 10/10, especially the ending. I love how they had Bond and Milena skinnydipping over the ending credits as they reprise the theme song
>The opening scene with the helicopter and the delicatessen is probably the worst cold open in the entire franchise
wrong
I almost completely agree. I'd say the underwater segments drag on for too long, or at least the ones outside the sunken submarine.
The biggest problem is acknowledging OHMSS and Bond's wife instead of starting with a clean slate.
Pro tip: All James Bond movies are boring and suck asshole.
You have to go back.
I completely disagree, Licence to Kill brings up Bond's wife too, it's canon whether people like it or not.
post body nerd
>Blofeld double who you don't even see the face of
>is the canonical death of Blofeld for the series
yes, yes it is the worst of the series
