Yes, anyone that doesn't like BW is a dumb zoomer. I've done studies over the last few years and have come to the conclusion that zoomers cannot stand anything that takes place between 1900 and 1930. Anything before that, the old west all the way back to Roman times is ok, they just view that as some sort of fictional fantasy setting that never happened anyways, anything involving WW2 and onwards they like because they played it in a video game, and movies that take place in the 50s and onwards at least have rock music and fast cars, and they know those times really existed because they're grandparents or parents were alive then. But anything between 1900 and ~1930 is like some sort of black hole of time and space to the zoomer, they simply cannot fathom that humans existed in a period where we had cars, but they couldn't go faster than 40mph, we had gramophones, but they played music zoomers have never heard of before, and we had electricity, but the only thing it was for used for was lighting.

Your studies forgot to factor in that anyone who actually enjoys that era is a massive American faggot.

it does the typical tv thing of building up to a climax to end an episode then start of the next is nothing happens. s4 was also astonishingly weak, spinning the wheels of all the interesting characters and focusing on boring ones instead. didn't bother with s5

It's passably entertaining if you love gangstershit, and the music is incredible. However it falls into that trap of ensemble shows of following too many characters and never really developing them properly. Every 5 minutes they jump to a new character, and honestly most of them aren't particularly interesting.

The entire world was in the early 20th century... not just America, and these same advances in technology were happening in western and eastern Europe, and is equally fascinating to any student of history. Prohibition is only one aspect of this time period that not even Boardwalk Empire is always about. As to younger people like yourself? The first two seasons are great, but the first season is very, very slow. The third season is fun, but not the same level of quality as compared to the first two seasons.
