Was Sheev too strong or were the Jedi too weak and unprepared?

This scene is lazy as the new star wars trilogy, it fucking sucked.
How come Jedi Masters and members of the council were "somehow" easily and quickly defeated? Sheev was strong but this scene needed to last more and show us more, an epic battle just like the one with Obi Wan and Anakin.
But no, better have boring talking scenes.

Probably my most hated scene from the prequels. The fact he takes them down so easily then the proceeding acting from Anakin and Palatine made cringe so hard while being mad as fuck. Love TPM and AotC had a lot of great moments sprinkled in with dumb shit buy RotS was botched hard and I can't understand people who say it's "the only good prequel film" whatsoever

The point was to establish how much of a threat he is. Most Sith on average are more powerful than Jedi. That's why Palpatine sent Maul, who is basically an assassin, to kill a jedi master and his padawan. Even a comparatively weak Sith is still usually stronger than a Jedi. And Palpatine's supposed to be the strongest of all.

To be fair, there isn't really any way to prepare for a cock-gobbling psychopath who does 720 degree spin while doing a speed screech

The jedi had no real threats for the hundreds to thousands of years that the sith had seemingly been extinct, In that time the order grew weaker.
On the flipside the Sith had been doing nothing but getting stronger since with the order of two.
Thwn add into it Palpatines brilliance

Sheev and his boys had been doing nothing but plan and prepare for that moment for a thousand years. Mace and his gang went to fencing class three times a week and had read about the Sith in history class.
Frankly, it's impressive they lasted as long as they did

This, jedi are groups and support builds. Sith are solo builds. It should take a group of jedi to face check a sith.
It should take several master to face check a master and it should take some exceptional jedi to face check a jedi.
