This is actually very true. I know these threads are 99% memery but it's really no surprise when an actor or actress from a popular TV show goes on to do a whole bunch of nothing with the remainder of their career.
I think it part has to do with them being typecast because of their association with a particular role and part has to do with them not giving a fuck because they can coast off royalties for the rest of their life.

Sure, but it's often 1 person of a core cast of 8. Sometimes no one. From GoT, Emilia Clarke is doing okay in getting great roles, but the movies are not doing that well.
