>The report, which was dated August 6, goes above and beyond the hodgepodge of state and local rules that govern theaters. They include enforcing masks at all times with exceptions only for eating and drinking, denying entry to those who refuse; daily symptom and/or temperature checks for employees; disinfecting auditoriums between screenings; staggered screening times, to avoid crowds; and publicizing the rules via signage, social media, and onscreen announcements. However, NATO has no power to enforce it.
>If NATO can find full compliance among its membership, that would be an extraordinary win: It would mean that the industry agreed to run counter to a national narrative in which masks are political and science is debatable. However, with only days before AMC begins reopening, and less than three weeks before the onslaught of “Tenet,” all stakeholders will have to work overtime to deliver that message to an audience whipsawed by a federally confused pandemic response, ever-shifting release dates, and their own exhaustion in facing an upside-down world.
>Dealmaking intricacies further complicate matters. Many film rental agreements are based on total national gross — that is, the more a movie makes, the higher percentage a studio can collect. When social distancing and other COVID circumstances mean that a film grosses $100 million instead of $200 million, what does that do to the studio incentive? Theaters’ fragile operating margins remain unchanged.
Thoughts? I feel like people don't wear the masks in the cinema should be charged for 2nd degree murder.
Just don’t go to a movie theater in the first place, it’s going to be a congested small area where you’re surrounded by strangers for hours

>I feel like people don't wear the masks in the cinema should be charged for 2nd degree murder. I have yet to see an argument as to why they should not be charged for genocide.
Why the fuck would you pay to see a movie? Are you a pozzed faggot? Do you like getting ass fucked? There's no point in paying to see a movie when the 4k rip comes out a month after theater release.

Wtf does NATO have to do with this?
John Cox

what if you go to the kinoplex with your gf/bf? do you have to sit two seats apart like in the picture? that doesn't make very much sense
Kayden Rodriguez
>clean seats >no groups of kids >no one around you for multiple seats sounds incredibly based, I might even start going to the cinema now

This. Most of the shit in theaters during the last few years has been Disney crap anyway. Those retards ruined the industry with generic movies so I hope they suffer from people not going to see their shit in theaters anymore as well as not going to those shitty parks of theirs

You lost me here. Then whats the point? Although I think people are perfectly capable of drinking with a mask and closing bars was the last thing anyone should have done, not the first. The way America has handled this is abysmal and now a quarter million will be dead by christmas and literally god only knows what the ultimate economic price will be.
Just offhand, bars could've immediately gone to bottles only. Pull up the mask, take a swig, pull the mask down. Whats the big fucking deal? You know bars have bouncers ready to kick peoples ass over anything right? The longer we've been doing this, the more often I'm in a circumstance to be drinking with a mask and it is absolutely preposterous this was not implemented on day 1. Offhand cans are a little trickier because of the tab catching the mask. Glasses are wider etc. But those are still problems that couldve possibly been overcome as they arent that big a deal.
But allowing people to eat is fucking preposterous and just demonstrates how out of control people are and grossly incapable of solving problems. Just for starters. Now people can eat but it needs to be outside, away from each other etc. There is a right and wrong way to do everything and this country has failed at every turn. The chickens have truly come home to roost. Eating in a theater during a pandemic? Literally get the fuck out of here. Even drinking I'm not ok with because its dark and no one to enforce it. Bars shoudlve turned all the lights on and watched everyone like a hawk.

damn u mad

go look up when did a bluray rip of Dunkirk appear after the release
and Tenet will literally have the longest cinema screening release ever given the situation, you can bet that it won't hit any streaming service or bluray print for half a year my dear poorfaggot friend
With a mask is fine as long as you're far apart. Its all about dilution. Not one single theater should hev closed and there should have been a renaissance of mid-movie ushers with literal night vision goggles. Anyone found with even their nose showing gets immediately thrown out with no refund. Cops should have a reasonable response time if they refuse. Emergency mandatory minimum sentencing. But oh well too late now. I assume.

>user, you didnt desinfect your hands after using the popcorn butter machine, I am afraid I have to call an airstrike on you now
