>most Redpilled movie in years
>utterly demolishes roasties
>exposes the art world
>stars Jake Kinohaal and Mommy Amy
>gorgeously shot
>all this by a literal faggot fashion designer
I’m still perplexed by this movie. Is Tom Ford an actual Chad?
>fills his movies with beautiful people
>no niggers
>actually good moral lessons
Look at that guy. In an age where gingers get bigger washed, he had two of them in a single film. Are gays actually based?!
Nocturnal Animals
Look up the guy he's married to
He is blackpilled.
Such a fucking great movie. Blew my mind when I found out it was directed by some fruit fashion designer. He's wasting his time not directing more.
is this another attempt at (((viral marketing))) or is it actually good movie?
The film was filled with basic technical and general filmmaking flaws
>Amy and Jake are underutilised, Shannon and Johnson outshine them all (and it's certainly not because of Ford's directing)
>Jake has an accent which he loses depending on the take
>out of place bad editing between wide shots and close up's
>jarring color pallete difference between the two narratives that doesn't blend at all
>a lot of "I'm acting!" scenes and cheesy one liners
>framing and composition of the landscapes felt like a film student trying to copy NCFOM landscapes
>all the night scenes have too bright obvious lighting like it's brightest moon in existence
>laughable phoneclip jump scare scene
>too on the nose symbolism with clues being literally spelled out in text form behind the characters
The movie is filled with scenes where you "see" that it is an actor acting in front of a camera, just take a shot everytime Amy Adams character stops reading the book and looks at the ceiling all nervous and aggravated, you will be drunk halfway into the movie.
I don't think it's awful, but it's not something worth of praise either.
Quite apparent that Ford is first and foremost a fashion designer, not a film director.
It's actually a really fucking based and good movie. Had the same reaction as OP, susprised it's not talked about more as I really enjoyed it. I think you might too fren.
its a fantastic movie with a strongly redpilled plot.
woman acts like a roastie whore, gets karmatic punishment that lasts through the whole film.
no other movie has depicted the vacuous existance of a woman that sacrificed everything for "career" and the act of "not settling" for a husband.
tom ford cuts through all that bullshit and exposes them for lacking substance and not appreciating what good they had.
>Every time Amy's daughter is on screen
your brain is absolutely fried if you can only conceptualize things in terms of based and redpilled and chad
>(((viral marketing)))
DA JOOOOOOOOOOOOZ
rent free
he was really good in this. i'm casting him for my Fire Punch adaptation
In that way it makes me think, was this a gay man's criticism of straight relationships or something?
Actually it's another garbage incel fantasy. You're criticizing the woman for going for the chad?
I've always liked Tom Ford. Granted can't afford his shit and I don't usually like fags but I like him.
Iiked it. The writer's novel sections were tense as fuck
No.
No and yes, that's not a problem though
Yes
No
That's the fucking point, idiot. It's meant to be jarring.
Yes, to a certain extent
NCFOM came out in 2007, that film copied Ford, with landscape shots. There is only few ways you can shoot a fucking desert.
No
Yes, dumb
Yes
And it's still better than 95% of American films that year.
substantiate this post. have you even seen the movie?
I think its more an artistic gay man's criticism of the way women can be cruel and disregard a man's hidden sensitivity.
the way jake gyllenhaal gets his revenge in the movie is a very "womanly" way of doing it. in reality, it probably wouldn't happen that way. maybe it's only because he's so sensitive and artistic he can imagine a way to hurt the women he loved by making her FEEL his pain.
in any case, tom ford probably has a great outside look on the way men and women operate, and hasn't really been suffering from women either, so his subject can be more accurate and objective, without colouring the experience with his own history.
I just said it was based and good. I so upset trannie?
Yes I've seen it, you just described what it is from the perspective of the incel
its the objective take. do you have any objections?
I personally wasn't a fan of the main plot even if the message was interesting because it felt so padded in.
The book story was pretty good though and its probably the only time Aaron Taylor Johnson has actually seemed like a good actor.
Get yourself some of his aftershave. Its pricey but its some of the best stuff you can get. You'll notice a difference in your confidence when girls start positively commenting on your smell.
>inb4 some literal incel says some childish shit like "AFTERSHAVE IS STUPID"
tom ford has great perfume. it's true. it's pricey as hell though.
>aftershave
just call it cologne
KEK, I had the same thought. A gay fashion designers did one of the most masculine film in years. Meanwhile all movies supposedly masculine are all featuring beta men who play second fiddle to strong empowered female. What happened to proud heterosexual men who take no shit from women? Where are they?
>viral marketing for a movie released 4 years ago
k
>two
Four actually. 2 mothers and 2 daughters. It was redhead overload.
>a film that came out in 2007 copied a film that came out in 2016
Based retard
>doesn't who John Ford is
Based retard
