Double Barreled Shotgun in movies

Post double barreled shotgun kino.

by the way I'm looking for a movie that had one scene where some guys ambushed a jeep. One guy was up on a hill with a double barreled shotgun and he killed those guys inside the car. Anyone knows what I'm talking about? I saw webm clip of that here on Zig Forums.

The scene in King of New York where Christopher Walken blows David Caruso's head off, he was using a sawed-off double barrel. Pretty cool scene, and great movie

You should head to /k/. They'll see you right.

Fuck yeah

Why do Americans use side by side shotguns instead of over/unders?

We use both, though over-unders are more used for hunting.

We have over/unders but they are too sexy to put on film.

Side by side is mechanically simpler because the hammers are on top instead of internal like over/under. Alsowhat he said

I suppose this is true - I've never used a side by side so it's never seemed like a big deal

Good point cheers - I've never looked, are side by sides cheaper? You can pay a crapload for over unders, but that's a gradual decent into some extortionate but gorgeous Italian engraving and metalwork.

Because they’re like 10 million dollars here

it's not a double barrel but White Heat is still shotgun kino

We don't. I, like any discerning gun owner, use a semi-automatic.

Why is wooden part under a lot of break actions detachable? What purpose does it serve taking it on and off?

>I don’t feel at home in this world anymore

A scene where a girl uses a sawed off double barrel on a wealthy man’s hand blasting it a part. Absolutely brutal. The main character who witnesses it immediately vomits.

Somewhat funny movie though.

shotguns have go to be my favorite firearm
goddamn do i love me some shotguns
one of my favorite sounds in the world in the racking of a shotgun

Guns are a tool, and should be treated as such. I want the tool that will be most effective.

Meld the two together so it's a nice wooden stocked pump action with filigree work.

I'd probably yak seeing a hand unexpectedly blown apart right in front of me

Literally all I remember from this is the fucking drapes.

Lock Stock should have been the first post. It's literally in the title for fuck's sake.

don't imagine any americans watched it

>Americans
>not watching Guy Ritchie
I find that very hard to believe.

I loved the hyperbolic special effects in this movie. Added a fun level of camp to it imo.

snatch onwards definitely

just don't get the feeling they'd know lock stock, not distributed nearly as widely

We haven't give him the time of day since Sherlock Holmes. Which was only because people were horny off RDJ at the time.

The Hunt. Autismo-hottie uses a sawed off to great effect

I forgave him for Sherlock Holmes for UNCLE, actually. That was a fun movie, really wish it got another film or a well produced miniseries.

Actually, horizontal barrels are more antique, less common.

I have a few shotguns, but the Benelli M4 is easily the smoothest one I've ever used. The thing is like fuckin butter.

Best movie shotgun coming through. youtu.be/S-Z4fBiM3Jc?t=37

I wouldn't mind having an M4, but I also find it hard to believe it's three times better than a Mossberg 930.

I don't have one, but I'd assume they're largely the same gun. Mossberg isn't a slouch, they make good product. I couldn't tell you much about how they stack up without handling one though.
