>The Kevlin Timeline
I didn't realise they made it a completely seperate timeline, especially with Nimoy appearing in the first flick.
I bought this set for ten bucks because my old dvds didn't play anymore. Two days later I saw a three pack dvd set for five bucks at Walmart. Such is life.
gross
It's a branching timeline - when Spock and Nero appear in the past, history changes into a new timeline from then onwards, even though they both came from the original timeline.
It's why the Supernova is in the original timeline, Spock and Nero go to the past after it happens and the timeline continues onwards without them unchanged.
They seem to be putting especial emphasis on it. Probably so they can corrupt original Star Trek when this one can't flop any harder and say "it's completely different now give us another chance" like with Picard.
NEED MORE TENDIS
>It's why the Supernova is in the original timeline,
Beyond fucking retarded
well Vulcan being destroyed would make things a bit different
Ok /trek/ riddle me this:
In the original canon James T. Kirk has an older brother named Sam. But in the kelvin timeline his father is killed by Nero just as his first child is being born, which is hastily named James Tiberius Kirk. While the Kelvin timeline movies are mostly shit with terrible writing, the ONLY interesting thing about them is that theoretically the real Jim T. Kirk's older brother Sam was accidentally saddled with the weight of destiny by Nero's interference rather than the real Jim T. Kirk who in fact was never born.
your little human mind can't comprehend something like that
