Season 2 was great but I still liked season 1 a tad bit more. Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman were just too good. I also thought the characters of season 1 as a whole were better realized. Everyone did a great job in season 2 but I felt characters like Ed and Mike were underdeveloped.
