Season 4, which is the worst of Buffy, still has a ton of fantastic episodes in it. Buffy, even at its worst, has a ton of great shit because they always took chances and went for the fences.Sometimes it means you miss, sometimes shit outside their control hurt things, but they always gave it their all.

Hulu

11 to 15 has been a pretty strong run. Not as good as 1-5 but still serviceable. Not to mention better than most of the new occult fantasy shows. The cosmology is so extensive now and a decade after Castiel revealed his wings, Supernatural is still THE undisputed angels and demons show. It definitely deserves a spot among the iconic dark fantasy shows out there.

Was kino, last couple of seasons were up and down. It was stupid turning willow gay, you could tell the actress was not into it at all and was trying hard not to freak out at the intimate scenes with other women. Just fucking introduce a new gay character if you feel the need for that shit. Whedon has some shit rape fantasy thing going and tried to have buffy raped, but the studio nixed that idea, you saw him do it in dollhouse multiple times. Still was very good. I hear they want to do a buffy remake which will be modern trash I am sure.

Season 4 has a ton of great episodes, it's just the arc that sucks. And the arc takes up what, 6 episodes? The rest are standalones. Season 7 is the worst with all the potentials shit and the feminism

I met her earlier this year before things went to shit, she was looking damn fine.

It's definitely less cheesy and more sophisticated than Buffy, but I wouldn't call it better. I think they are equally great shows for different reasons. Angel is more consistent, has better character arcs and Wolfram and Hart are better than any of the Buffy villains. However Buffy is funnier, and while it has lower lows it also has higher highs. There are so many Buffy episodes where it's "You remember THAT episode? That was great." Angel's episodes, season 5 aside, just kind of blend together with not many true standouts. Also I think Buffy struggling with her destiny and balancing it with her life is more interesting than Angel's "redemption and brooding" shit.

She paid the toll when Gunn sold her out to WHH and she got killed.

Used to feel bad for Fred but she got what she deserved. Plus Whedon fucked the actress so I just can't look at her anymore. It might even be worse than coalburning.
