Already been twice
I want to, but not in the middle of fucking August, especially if I have to wear a mask.
Yes
six flags is better
I was going to in May but it got cancelled. So now I'll probably have to wait to October 2021 to go.
I'm so fucking desperate for a holiday...
Hoping there's a vaccine by the end of the year so I can go Jan
word to the wise get your leg gains up before you go. that’s an obvious but the parks are bigger than you expect
I smoked weed at Epcot when I was 16 I’m based
Epcot always catches people by surprise. You do a shit ton of walking.
Wouldn't it be safer to load up on carbs and sugar and stand in a parking lot on the hottest day of the week? You could even play distorted Disney music in you phone.
>word to the wise get your leg gains up before you go.
Indeed. Expect to walk 10 miles daily. Break in those shoes and put some foot powder in them to avoid blisters. And stretch before you begin.
Also heard Southern Florida's water tastes horrible so on top of bringing your own water bottle, bring water flavoring.
My family booked 3 trips already, but I don't want to be around a bunch of sick, obese, elderly, wheelchaired Florida idiots.
When I first went to Florida, you could taste chlorine in the water. It's not so bad now. Other places water usually tastes off because you get used to hard/soft water.
You can get these tiny ultra concentrates where you literally just put a couple of squirts in and it'll flavour a whole bottle.
Jesus, man, don't talk about your family like that!
>When I first went to Florida, you could taste chlorine in the water. It's not so bad now. Other places water usually tastes off because you get used to hard/soft water.
Yeah it's just something that's rarely mentioned and always hits people off guard. So I like to mention it.
>You can get these tiny ultra concentrates where you literally just put a couple of squirts in and it'll flavour a whole bottle.
Yep. I got flavor packets and will use several of those a day when i eventually go. No need risking heat stroke.
>Epic universe indefinitely on hold
Boo!
>Super Nintendo World is rumoured to be being built in Studios instead and could actually be complete sooner.
Yay.
Wonder if Epic Universe would get the rumoured Zelda ride instead.
This
I went last summer and I walked 55 miles over 5 days.
Get the liquid ones. A single one of these will probably do 10+ bottle fills. Can get energy drink ones too.
Also, a battery pack is a must and always take a picture of where your car is.
>couldn't find the car one time at Universal
>staff member notices we're looking lost
>"what time did you arrive today?"
>"Not sure... about 10:30?"
>"Try Jaws level 3 row 25"
He was bang on. Keeping track of the fill times is such a simple thing but it must save so many hours of stressful searching.
>Get the liquid ones.
yeah i got time now, maybe i'll test them.
i was just worried about the liquid container's lid accidentally opening in my pack and getting everything wet and sticky. heh
>Also, a battery pack
Totally. A smartphone is essentially required to go to Disney these days.
They also have the fuel rod battery stations all over the parks.
>and always take a picture of where your car is.
Imma take those shuttles. saves money on rental cars. If it goes bad, I'll use Lyft which has a deal with Disney.
BING BING WAHOO!
I didn't renew my annual pass because they took away the smoking sections. Bunch of marys
Have they clamped down on this Disney Springs trick yet or do they thing it's just enough hassle that people don't do it?
If the squirt things are anything like the ones I've had, it's got a clip lid and there's a rubber valve thing so the liquid only comes out when quickly squeezed with force.

>implying you're not at least slightly hyped by this
>Have they clamped down on this Disney Springs trick yet or do they thing it's just enough hassle that people don't do it?
I think they still don't allow any outside food/drink products outside of small snacks/water if that's what you're referring to.
Right now you can't refill anything with their refillable buckets/cups due to the rona. You have to bring them and they'll just give you a disposable cup/container at the refill cost.
Not even sure if they allow empty water bottles but I'd assume they would due to the heat.
>If the squirt things are anything like the ones I've had, it's got a clip lid and there's a rubber valve thing so the liquid only comes out when quickly squeezed with force.
I could also pack it inside a ziplock freezer bag. the seals on those are pretty waterproof. Cheap and easy containers there.
I want to go in December with my gf. However, the reduced hours, no water parks, and no dining plan fucking blows hard. We all know the shows are coming back and eventually the fireworks, but it still feels like a gimped experience. Universal has everything still open and it's looking like a much better option.
Nah, park at Disney Springs for free. get a bus to a hotel near the park you want (they're at least aware enough not to do morning Springs to Park transport), get transport from there to the park.
Universal have reduced their hours and closed something like 4 of their shittiest rides.
>finally get an annual pass for Disneyland late last year
>park closes
I do plan on going to Disney World sometime next year though. Hoping for 10 days
>Nah, park at Disney Springs for free.
ooooh. sorry, no I didn't hear anything about that. I was going to stay at a disney springs hotel and i know the hotel had parking fees though.
I would've taken the hotel's bus to the parks from there.
>epcot have cancelled the Spaceship Earth refurb
>they've put the fountain back
Some good has come of this at least.
>still won't fix the yeti
lol
Disney is great, Epcot's my favorite place to get drunk at
it would probably suck wearing a mask the whole time desu
Just park at Disney Springs and walk over to the Saratoga Spring bus pickup for direct park access buses.
>it would probably suck wearing a mask the whole time desu
who wants to wear a mask in 90 degree 95% humidity weather?
What's the fucking point? Why not stay closed if they are so scared of a lawsuit. Muh profits at the expense of a gimped vacation experience.
just how fat and idle do you have to be that walking around a theme park needs to be prepared for.
Same. I'm a resident and an annual pass holder. I was just at Hollywood Studios yesterday.
