that movie with boats, that other where a lot of males fight and have touching bromance gay moments etc basically all the so called "movies women don't understand"
because it follows the classic anti-white formula where a noble white character afflicted with white guilt turns his back on his evil white society and redeems himself by becoming a hero among a non-white people; it's more enjoyable than the more recent anti-white formula which besides shitting on white people, also states white people can't be saved from the original sin of "racism"
>because it follows the classic anti-white formula
White savior is obviously pro-white.
And you failed with the themes so hard. It isn't about evil white culture vs good japanese culture. The modern Japanese imperialists were portrayed as evil also. It's about modern technological globalist society vs traditional honorable societies (or something like that, I don't remember entirely).
Stop making everything about race.
based and dare i say it, redpilled
why did katsumoto want tom cruise to fuck his sister so much?
Closet homosexuality that could not be manifested directly and thus had to be lived vicariously through his sister getting bleached
Declining population and such.
the white man is unironically a metaphor for big black cock
Weird innit?
Kasumoto's entire reason for rebelling was to avoid filthy gaijin (TL note: gaijin means foreigner in a negative connotation) controlling grorirous nippon and getting overly mixed with different cultures.
And yet he's deeply fascinated with them and doesn't mind his sister getting banged by the guy that killed his brother-in-law.
Don't get me wrong, I love this movie but some things are just nonsensical.
This.
But at the same time Japan was deeply "racist" - and to a point it still is, as it's been completely isolated from the world for centuries.
It's a natural kind of "racism". Certainly not the kind PC twittertrannies rave on about.
Slit your throat
>Americans
>White
>natural kind of "racism"
only exist in incel brains
Great buzzword, I bet you get a lot of little hearts on twitter.
But no, every population/ethnicity on earth has a natural weariness to other ethnic groups.
It has nothing to do with what you retards call racism, it's not about superiority or any nonsense like that.
In-group preference is the most natural thing there is, and literally the reason why there's so many ACTUALLY diverse ethnic groups.
But I'm sure you have another witty buzzword coming, because you have no arguments.
you are looking too much into this guys
Yikes
Last Samurai?
More like "Last good movie Tom Cruise ever made."
What a finale it could have been!
His career should have ended here
I love how Bob sacrifices himself to save Tim Cruise.
And how the head Samurai's son was sniping niggers with his bow.
those are all kino, most of the others i haven't seen though
because they were all perfect
You mean 'Going natives?
Like in Dances with Wolves, Avatar, Ferngully, etc.
What is
>Edge of Tomorrow
>Mission impossible 3-7
>Collateral
>American made
>Tropic thunder
>Seething black man
Actually the worst movie ever made
do people still think The Last Samurai refers to Tom's character ?
That was such a missed opportunity. Needed to be at least an hour longer, and have the japs speak jap or have english speakers.
nah, he went on to make collateral, jack reacher, edge of tomorrow, and the last two mission impossible flicks
yeah, it was an extremely old formula when that flick came out, they were probably just using the tropes because of the escapism it provides with the lone white hero
Yes.
Don't know why but when something old pops onto Netflix and normalfags don't stop going on about it really annoys me.
By gaijin he meant black people. Which is what the japanese considered americans at the time and still do.
>Racism is learned
>Apart from when black and brown people do it
>White solidarity is evil and never existed anyway
>Black solidarity is special and tangible
We've both seen this shit refuted 1000s of times, cumsack. I don't think me doing it here will help you.
I wish I watched Last Samurai when I was younger. I would have been overly impressed by the swords, martial arts and honour. By the time I watched it I was an adult and the numerous historical innacuracies (ninjas, the satsuma rebellion soldiers cosplaying as medieval period samurai, etc) paired with the weird romantic subplot (which also wouldn’t have been accepted back then) and white saviour (not in the greater sense, more in the “breed with my sister” sense) made me think it was cringe.
You can compare it to Lord of the Rings. That was cool when I was a teenager, but holds up now. At least I could have enjoyed the “cool” aspects as a teenager of this film.
