A lot of new french extremity stuff
>Martyrs
>Inside
>Frontier(s)
>High Tension
>Them
All pretty good spooks, and a couple are actually good, too
>he is scared of movies
sad
Ejecta
The Poughkeepsie Tapes
Hellraiser
I've never been scared of movies, even as a kid
James and the Giant Peach
Fuck that creepy ass movie, fuck spiders
High Tension was one of the stupidest things I have ever seen.
The end was, but until then I thought it was pretty decent. OP said scary not good, so I went with that. If you cut the last 5 minutes it'd be a solid 7.5/10
truth is, most of the time is based on how are you feeling before putting on a movie.
>babadook
scared the shit out of me because i was really tired, it's not that scary
>blair witch project
that final scene is really good
>rec
>28 days later
>the ghost of yotsuya
an old jap horror
>hereditary
people standing still in the dark with the ominous music is my weak spot
>the exorcist 1 and 3
>jaws
some scenes
OP asked for scary movies. The new french extremism isn't scary. Martyrs in particular is a great movie but it is so by being dreadful. It is great in a sense that it evokes negative emotions better than any jumpscare shit ever could.
Sinister. Overall not a great movie, but the lawn mower scene was 10/10
she dont smell too good
Conjuring dread is a form of being scary, user
great monster design. how's jeepers creepers 2?
Less good, but still watchable if you don't mind the director's extracurricular activities. Third one is ass tho
decent enough to watch, 3 is unwatchable garbage though
are you for real, nigga?
One of the worst movies ever made.
These guys are fags.
Only movie that ever scared me was fire in the sky i was really into ayyys as a kid. the alien abduction and experimentation scene gave me nightmares and fears of being abducted for a week
I assume the movie in your pic is Jeepers. I heard there's a 3rd one now. Is it any good? It has very low ratings. The first one I enjoyed a lot when I was younger. Probably wouldn't hold up if I watched it now, but only due to execution. I love the theme.
Yeah that scene was pretty freaky as a kid
so badass
Inkeepers and Oculus got me.
There was a good few jumpscares in Annabelle. I was really drunk when i watched Evil Dead but I remember I got a good thrill off it
I got spooked a bit by The Sacrament
I thought the whole movie would be like that one scene. It was a good movie but I was disappointed because I expected ET horror, not drama
>when you learned this entire scene is based on a real event
It Follows
>Martyrs isn't scary, it's dreadful
Dumbest shit I've seen on here in a while
Explain, user.
salva basically copied a tv show when he filmed the scene where they drive by the church, almost shot-for-shot. It was a documentary on a real serial killer
