This but unironically. There are now 7.8 billion people on this earth. If we got that down to 2 billion or so, maybe less, it would solve so many problems. Suddenly climate change becomes so much more manageable, world hunger, poverty, shortage of natural resources in general, really. And you cannot convince me there aren't 5.8 billion expendable people on this planet. Lower caste Indians, hopeless addicts, violent criminals, morbidly obese, mental and physical retards - and that's just off the top of my head. Shit, start by shaving off like 60 percent of the most populated countries and you're well on the way already. Abortion does help with preventing more needless people being born, too. Many disorders can be screened in utero so that's one reason why there are significantly less people with down syndrome being born in this day and age.

I anticipated this. The thing is, ideally a purge of this magnitude would be a natural occurrence happening all over the world, like a virus, taking out the worst of us simply by attacking the ones with the worst immune systems or just the dumbest who wouldn't take any precautions. An all-out extermination wouldn't sit well with the vast majority of people, and you'd have to kill even more due to blowback. The logistical issues of taking 5 or so billion people out would be immense. Covid really didn't turn into the epidemic I hoped it would be.
Yes, and that's good, but it's not enough. Abortion is really just a thing in western countries, which is not the part of the world where the birth rates are highest. It would take too long to introduce proper methods for abortions in a lot of third world countries.
