>final
why so serious, OP?

I like the prequels overall, but episode 2 has almost no redeeming qualities.
Episode 3 is the big war movie where pretty much everything that should have happened over the course of three movies happens in one, episode 1 was a nice stand alone movie but overall unnecessary.
Episode 2 should have been the first half of episode 1 is what I'm trying to say I guess.

koe no katachi is great but...

your name sucks

Stop calling anime by its Japanese name unless you speak Japanese. It's super cringe.

Your Name was good but I feel like the media overhyped it and affected my experience. If I had gone in without knowing it was popular I probably would have been like OP's image walking out

Whisper of the Heart

I didn't hear it was literally the most popular anime of all time until after I watched it (which was like a week ago).
Same kinda thing happened with Erased where I watched it and then found out it's immensely popular afterwards.

Platoon

Every time I watch Excalibur.

It's worse than that. He called A Silent Voice by its Japanese name but for some reason called Your Name by its English name. Its Japanese name is "Kimi no Na wa." So he wasn't even consistent. An even deeper cringe than you had realized.

Lawrence of Arabia

TV series, pic related.

Cheers to the user who recommended this. Pure Kino.
