Jurassic Park and Lost World are the only real Jurassic Park movies

3 and up are just soulless cash grabs that rape the franchise.

Agreed, 2 has its faults but it feels the most like a proper successor to the glamour and glitz of the first film before the park collapsed.
3 just doesn’t feel as exciting though it does have some fantastic special effects.

Solid followup with incredible atmosphere, tension, a score to rival the first JP, but sadly dragged down by some plot holes as well as some really dumb shit. At worst it's better than the last two pieces of shit.

I actually think Lost World’s soundtrack is a bit better than 1’s, I just love the Caribbean jungle vibe that really adds to the isolated and wild atmosphere.

Different user but JP1’s also my favorite movie of all time, it’s infinitely rewatchable and still holds its magic every time I rewatch it. My local cinemark is letting people rent out a whole theater for $99 for a showing and I’m doing Jurassic Park with some friends for a birthday celebration.
