So I was going through Artstation looking at art for inspiration for writing and I saw an animation. Following the name it lead me to this.

>A girl was born and grew up in the deepest jungle of the Amazon, Colonia, that rests on the back of the most powerful Mother Spirit in the Amazon, Turtle Motelo Mama. One day she discovers that her homeland is being threatened and realizes that there are other humans in the world besides her people. As she fights to save her paradise against the greed and exploitation of children, logging, and illegal mining, she begins to struggle to reverse this destruction and impending evil of the Yucuruna, the darkness that lives in the Amazon. Guided by her mother's spirit, Ainbo is determined to save her land and save her people before it's too late
The animation seems quite good but the VA quality seems all over the place. Furthermore, it seems to have been in production for a long time. Doubly weird is that it's due out, apparently, soon - the weirdness? Disney is doing a film about a South American girl born into a magical power family but she has no powers. So is this a case of Disney seeing this and doing their own thing, or the other way round? Seems to be made by Peru(?)...

thanks i love her

I want to see her naked.

I want to see her rule34 haha

>the greed and exploitation of children, logging, and illegal mining, she begins to struggle to reverse this destruction and impending evil of the Yucuruna
tl;dr every single natives movie ever.

if jungle tribals were actually this cute they would have been bred out hundreds of years go

what's wrong with you people

Looks interesting
There should be an animation board for film, one that concerns movies like this

why'd they give her green eyes? isn't this whitewashing?

Fuck off.
>looks interesting
Double fuck off. It looks just like pocahontas clone #325

Have you no faith they might actually produce something good?

Oh for fucks sake. My point is, that Disney announced Encanto
>Encanto will center on a Colombian girl who, in spite of coming from a magical family, lacks magical powers.
Then all these clickbait videos pop up and it's nearly 1:1 same. So did Disney copy this since this seems to be in production since 2018.

Hahahahahahaha

lol i didn't read your post. I just like the picture that's part of it.

probably just a better spot colour from a design process
>tfw brown/red haired with dark brown eyes despite mother having hazel eyes, dad blue eyes and neither of them having blonde hair but sister being blonde haired and blue eyed
She got the genetic lottery there. Who cares I'm 6'4, cursed with shit eyes.

Fair enough. I did some searching, seems like they're doing another film too.

Pocahontas clone? More like Fern Gully clone. But who cares. I'm all for new studios trying animation as most are too scared due to big boys and any talent is poached.

The one showing tummy is superior

they are some sexy woman

Okay, but I'm more interested in did Disney copy this, or get the idea for a native animation or what? Just seemed a bit coinkydinky. But you're not interested in that discussion kek.

Wait a minute, that facepaint...

Bump I’ll look at it later

I wouldn’t be surprised if they had people on staff “scouting” ideas to steal full time
After all even if you can prove they stole your idea how are you going to rectify? They got the movie out first as far as the general public and their kids are concerned and they have all of the money in the world and can afford to hire black belt lawyers to ruin you. Fuck I dislike that company.

Sauce?

Suyane Moreira, As Brasileiras

Yeah. Well, I hope it works out. I just find it a bit dodgy. They get away with it by it being a different story; but by using the same setting and stuff they can get the good boy points for it not being some white girl

There is. Zig Forums has probably has mentioned it. There are people on that board that work in the industry.

This movie Reminds me of those 80s cartoons with the faeries and talking animals trying to save the forest, in a good way.

Fern Gully? Maybe Zig Forums has talked about it, I made the thread and wasn't sure where to put it. I put it here because Zig Forums is a busier board and it is a film and it was more about how Disney seems to be taking ideas from little production companies and then going 'I made this' and getting the applause for doing some SA native bee urself film.

Buddy, of course they ripped if off. Some no name chucklefuck brown animators haven't a chance in hell against the full power of Judaism. Ironic since Walt hated Jews lmao. What are you gonna do? Start an epic fucking twitter hashtag campaign against a bona fide megacorp? I'm just here for cute brown girls now.

Well I know there are a view 'in the business' guys on Zig Forums so maybe if they heard anything. Also as a way of getting it out there, I guess.
>I'm just here for cute brown girls
Well until it's out that's your lot and before degenerates start doing R34. I assume Zig Forums already has if they've talked about it. Feel free to make a thread there if you're looking.

a very common way to paint your face in the Amazonian tribes
