Brosnan was a good Bond, but had to suffer through some ass films. Can't rate him on the same level as Connery

I would slide Sellers between Lazenby and Niven but yeah I completely agree with this. License to Kill is the best Bond film IMO.

pure memery, his movies weren't that much campier than Connery's aside from Moonraker. Rewatch You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever and tell me those aren't 90% pure camp. Moore's first two movies (and FYEO) were far more serious than those.

He had 2 good ones and two bad ones, the problem with Brosnan is the way Bond is written during his run. A complete caricature of previous Bonds, and mowing down 200 people per movie which was just ridiculous. When did Bond turn into Rambo? Brosnan could have been great if the character he was playing hadn't gotten completely flanderized

i liked them all but some movies were shit for no fault of their own.
the more movies they made with the same actor and the more absurd the villains became.
the only two to remain rooted in more humble storylines were craig and dalton, but the man with the golden gun is easily top 3.

Just rewatched Casino Royale Saturday night, it's actually so fucking good, way more classic bond than I remembered it being.

Craig might be the most toilet cleaning bond but his first movie got is the best movie in the franchise

I like the first 45 minutes of Casino Royale but as soon as Bond and Vesper meet on the train I feel it becomes extremely boring and pedestrian after that. Plus while some Bond tropes are there, they still subvert or ignore the majority of them.
