I thought this show could have really benefit from a morbid sense of humor. A lot of the time the show is stupid and hammy.
But I keep coming back to this moment, I can't remember who it is, but it's in the second season, where they have to behead someone who was close to one of the characters (a mom or grandma, maybe) and then the head gets severed and drops/rolls to the ground in such a callous way that it's hilarious. I think this show could've used more of that. Some Stuart Gordon Re-Animator energy.
