I don't get it
I don't get it
theres nothing to get
the rich guy was innocent
/thread
It's about betas seething
How could you think that? He had her cat and her watch, the phone call where there was clearly a struggle, there was so much evidence. At the very least he manipulated her into suicide.
What happened to the girl then?
When she gets half nakes and starts "dancing" what was that supposed to mean?
What's the cat plotline all about?
Why did the rich guy have her watch?
Did she really fell when she was a kid?
What's up with the protagonist mum?
I don't understand this movie.
It's ambiguous. Also you are retarded.
he killed her, there's nothing to get
Imagine being filtered
Yikes, you're exactly the kind of brainlet this movie is criticizing. She wanted to disappear and Ben helped her with that
>her cat
She trusted Ben with it more than Jong-su
>her watch
Something to remember her by before she left
>phone call
It was a bombing/incident in Africa, the place she went to to start a new life. They blatantly mention this earlier in the film
>He had her cat and her watch
Yeah he gave him her cat because she was leaving the country to get out of debt, she also gave the watch to him so she wouldn't be reminded of the main character and how she left him high and dry.
Glenn's secretive job is getting people out of the country who are buried in debt.
You know, for such an easy movie to get i'm see plenty of different ideas
>it's ambiguous
Imagine being a retard of this level. That's what people say when the movie doesn't make any sense
I don't remember her mentioning wanting to disappear, but I do remember the debt that she had. However, she also had no money left, so how would she be able to pay Ben?
How do explain Ben talking surreptitiously about burning greenhouses every month, and interacting with a new, seemingly lost, woman who enters when Jong-Su finds him in the café?
Why does he take the bait at the end when he mentions that she wants to meet the two of them? How do you not perceive this as a way of telling Ben that he knows of his activities.
You know what? It's is a shit movie. This thread has only confirmed it for me
It's one of the best films of the century, nice job getting filtered like a moron.
Maybe Marvel movies are more your thing.
Kek what a bitch
Adquire taste
Imagine getting filtered by fucking burning
This is the kind of movie you can tell just from the poster is going to be hipster trash for people who think they have taste and use "you must like capeshit" as an argument.
I never noticed how fucking shitty the cover for the movie was
this
It's a very layered film where you can discover new things each time you rewatch the film. When you disregard it, there's a reason behind it, but you don't seem to know what that reason is, or you're simply unable to explain, thus the argument of you preferring capeshit, literally becomes valid.
So what do you like?
iron man
I like movies that answer to the questions they ask. Not movies that don't do shit and then hide behind being "ambiguous"
>I don't remember her mentioning wanting to disappear, but I do remember the debt that she had. However, she also had no money left, so how would she be able to pay Ben?
Her family at the resturant, they would definately do a one time payment to get her out of debt and out of the city.
Also Ben could've done it pro-bono especially considering he was jealous of the main character.
>How do explain Ben talking surreptitiously about burning greenhouses every month, and interacting with a new, seemingly lost, woman who enters when Jong-Su finds him in the café?
He could've lied or the main character didn't find the greenhouse. He was either a ladies man or providing them with a service.
>Why does he take the bait at the end when he mentions that she wants to meet the two of them? How do you not perceive this as a way of telling Ben that he knows of his activities.
This is literally the strongest piece of evidence that Ben is innocent, why on earth would we walk right into a trap in the middle of nowhere?
It's midwit bait.

Filtered? By this shit movie? Actually you're the one getting filtered if you think this shit was deep or good
>I like movies that answer to the questions they ask. Not movies that don't do shit and then hide behind being "ambiguous"
Okay so watch capeshit, teletubbies and go back to playing with legos
>Filtered? By this shit movie? Actually you're the one getting filtered if you think this shit was deep or good

>explanation good, yes i need that explanations and exposition, please daddy Nolan give me more
DONGed is the new LYNCHed
Rich boy was a serial killer and the girl was an airhead easy prey
The film follows Jong-Su pretty much for the entirety of the film, meaning that the pieces of evidence, and how he assembles the story, is how we pretty much do it, too.
Haemi talks to Jong-Su in the beginning at the restaurant about the 'little hunger' and the 'big hunger', meaning temporary joy, versus a search for a purpose in life.
Jong-Su opens up to Ben when they're sitting by his, house smoking weed, and talks about how he burned his mother's clothing after she left, meaning that he 'killed' her identity in order for him to deal with the fact that she's gone. Ben responds by opening up to him about his activities of burning greenhouses, that it's been two months since his last burning, and that the next one that he'll burn will be very close to him.
We learn later that there are no greenhouses that have recently been burned down in the area, but see Ben interacting with a new girl. This is him feeding his 'little hunger' -- by killing them.
???
This thread told me that she ran away because of debt
you can believe what you want but there were plenty of hints that richboy was hunting beautiful women and collecting trophies
