I unironically enjoyed this flick. I liked what they did with Huntress and MEW in that role. I can still see why it did so poorly though.

it was okay, average turn off your brain capeshit

i dont watch anything with a female lead. call me whatever name you want

A bit boring, plus combined with the fact I find it hard to care about DC's failed cinematic universe. Thought it was funny seeing Ewan and MEW in a movie where they didn't share a scene. Ewan by the way, was the best part. Didn't know he was such a good comedic actor.

I thought it was ok. Kind of felt like a cross between Suicide Squad and a John Waters movie or something.

Best part was the cartoon opening.

The movie itself was very poor and silly, but I do like the character of Harley Quinn in it.

The screaming girl made no sense and was completely out of place in an otherwise "grounded" movie. Also Black Mask was so goofy as a villain, even if McGregor is not to blame.

I liked it. Though everyone praised the direction and action but I thought they were pretty flat

Im gonna call you based

Are you guys fucking serious?

I've seen it once in the theater and once at home and overall I think it's pretty decent. The fight scene towards the end with Barracuda playing was really bad though, the characters are sort of mindlessly meandering through the set pieces with no actual direction.

What's this movie target audience? Unemployed roasties and faggots?

I didn't watch it purely because Suicide Squad was on the worst movies I have ever seen, worse than Batman and Robin.

I didn't like it and i don't like women

I dont hate this film because I hate women, but I do hate women so

Batman and Robin is kino you fucking caveman

i like it, it's a bit weak in bit of different aspects, like some of the other girls and the villain, but it gets some good scenes here and there. I like that it's coloured in a very peculiar way and that anything feminist is just completely exaggerated and in your face, no subtle shit. plus, I've yet to see Margot doing a bad job. this same harley played by anyone else would just be total cringe, she somehow makes it fun

I sort of liked the Harley raid on the police station but other than that, awful movie

>WAAAAAHHHHH WHY DON'T YOU ALL BLINDLY HATE THIS MOVIE I'VE NEVER WATCHED?!

Based contrarian. I liked it until Batgirl, it got too cringeworthy at that point and I was just waiting for it to end.

Dipshit feminists can't write or direct. The film is awful and it gives the impression all women as a whole can't direct or write because the only time you hear about an all women's production is for feminist tripe. Wayne's world and American Psycho are female directed films for example. You'd never know though.

As for the film it's a complete mess. Harley's design looks like you clued random bits left over from a pride parade to her suit. So they were so certain on making her not sexy that they ended up making an incredibly bland design. Her co-stars look like random millennial women rather than actual superheroes. It tires really hard to be a Deadpool copy too. The actual plot is some jewel nonsense and some random kid.

short version: more female directors and writers, fewer dipship feminists.

>The movie itself was very poor and silly, but I do like the character of Harley Quinn in it.

Harley is defined by her relationship with Joker but we got 2 solo films without her. They were in such a rush to get the DC Universe up they didn't bother with the ground-work. You do a few Batman and joker films where you introduce her. Imagine if we saw joker and Batman and robin fight it out and we get to see Robin killed? Then later she goes solo or something.

So without any backstory she's just a random lol so zany chick.

>women can direct, look!
>#3 Brave
>#4 Wonder Woman
Stop, you're killing me!

>What's this movie target audience? Unemployed roasties and faggots?

Unironically feminist women who want to see a female power fantasy. However they're at most like 5% of the public, just very loud online. Comic book fans (who lean male) were the most likely to see it though. So like Ghostbusters 2016 it was anotehr film without really an audience.

if you haven't, noticed this board has been infested with the kind of person that likes this kind of movie

It sucked, for a variety of reasons, despite even putting the grrrl power shit, the script and characterization were very flawed. The action scenes were a joke (check out the last scene in the carnival) and the fucking premise was cliched and annoying as fuck. Protecting the annoying little kid is a plot that needs to fucking die already.

But my biggest gripe is Harley herself. They changed her for the worse, felt more like a shitty parody of Deadpool than the Harley we saw in SS, who was a beloved character. She's at her best when she's with the Joker imo. Also, the sexualized aspect was one of the things people loved the most, and they removed it.

Not saying that her breaking up with the Jokester couldn't work but they totally rushed it. After one movie where they loved each other it was like:
>Lol we broke up just cuz

I'm not saying that every film on the list is any good, just that it's a list and half the films should make you go "wait a woman directed that?". There's a ton of mediocre films on the list to pad the list out since there's so few female directors.

Katheryn Bigelow is probably the most successful and mainstream, which is funny since she's such a political conservative (her war films border on American propaganda). her best work by far was all her early work. Point Break and Strange Days should be considered must watches.

Pretty much everyone has normal clothes on in this movie except Harley. She always has the most random shit on and it looks terrible. It's like they wanted to try and one up the Suicide Squad outfit.

off by one
Consume the media slave, buy it, or youre a bad man.

Oh and also literally every other character other than Harley was a joke and didn't resemble the originals in neither looks or characterization. Even Huntress, who people seemed to like the most, was just a parody of herself. An angry femcel.

Its not funny at all, Hollywood has always worked with the military, they love destabilizing Muslim nations and making films about them "liberating" the middle east.

I saw it on HBO, you big gay fuck.

>reminded how good Strange Days was
>look up the writer
>James Cameron

DOES

DO

IT?!

Like you gotta sell that these are super heroes. The X-Men all black is not that creative but at least they have outfits. Birds of Prey look like random jerks from the street. And did you know that they bragged about making Harley's new outfit to "avoid the male gaze"? Like literally "make it not sexy" was seemingly their only concern. Harley dresses like an idiot raver from the 90's. I can't stress how bad her outfit is, because at least Suicide Squad outfit made a big impression and guess what? Girls dresses as her for Halloween because they want to be the sexy skinny girl in shorts with a bat. No one wants to look like a raver who passed out and had woke up with confetti glued to her.

Margot did a great Job on portraying Harley, er fight Scenes with the bat were also really good

but damn everything else, the plot, the cast was complete shit 2/10 film overall (sadly)
