fun kills and gratuitous nudity

Part 2 is better than 1 for sure

good slashers kys op

Halloween is a masterpiece. Cunningham is a hack and lacks Carpenters craftsmanship.

It's a pretty comfy slasher series.

The first is legit the worst one so fucking dull and boring.

The first one is better than part 7.

A summer camp is one of the more interesting slasher locations. Better than more suburbs shit.

Guys, if you just let me kill Rose's family the first fucking time I asked I wouldn't even be like this.

Can't we just like them all?

I think you mean it's the definitive slasher franchise

She did a nude scene but when Paramount found out she was only 17 it was cut from the movie

7 was butchered by the MPAA but its still more entertaining

Jason versus Carrie wasn't terrible and had cute blondes. Jason on a Boat and Jason is a Parasite Who Possesses People in a movie that was an obvious rewrite of an unrelated horror script were worse.

Jason goes to hell is the best of the franchise and for some reason it's popular to hate it.

Same reason normies like MCU
mediocre and samey but easily digestible, you always know what you’re gonna get

Feels bad man. She did nude scenes later in her career though

It's not muh and it retcons the first movie where Mrs. Vorhees says Jason was an only child. Should have just been its own thing but even then it wouldn't have been particularly memorable.

i love horror films and upon rewatching the entire series since middle school i realized its very not good. even the kills lack much gore

To be fair continuity in the franchise is pretty loose

Because it has the best setting, killer in a cozy lakeside summer camp with teen counselors. The ones that stray from this setting tend to be the worst

nobody cares about the first movie. It's literally the black sheep of the films.

she was 16

No. Part 7 is the worst of the series. It takes way too long to get to the Jason bits and then there's no good kills. The movie focuses way too much on the dumb psychic shit.

It's consistently entertaining, especially compared to Halloween which is garbage aside from the original and Season of the Witch, or Child's Play which turns to shit after the first two.

the proof that F13 is the best franchise is that every person who you ask what their favorite is will give you a different answer
each entry has it's own unique flavor, despite them all hewing pretty close to a simple formula
Part III is my favorite, btw

IT'S GOT A DEATH CURSE!

The first movie had a fine ending that had a great callback in part three.

Plebeian as fuck, the original is the best. Docudrama style filmmaking combined with realistic characters easily make it the scariest, and at times I feel like I'm watching something that really happened. Plus the giant rainstorm isolating these camp counselors provides great atmosphere. It also has the cutest girls in the series. Its only flaw is that after the killer reveal the climactic fight goes on for too long
